@dyllman5 Same people, but in this game it is an "option" to fight, you can kill dogs, but your best bet is to sneak around, if you want a TRUE Amnesia experance, get Penumbra: Black Plague. It's is almost exactly the same, except I'd say less scary.

You can easily avoid every gatherer in Amnesia. But event-wise, Amnesia has more "jump-scares" and such. The tension is almost the same, a scary ass castle and a bloody hospital-looking office building?

Works either way. Black Plague gets you stuck in a room with a task to complete while a tuurngait is trying to kill you, and you can't block him off. In return, in Amnesia, getting spotted by a brute means you're basically dead.

@SilverWuzzy No, it's the other way around. The tuurngait have a death-animation. In the game files, edit the script that describes the hitting strength of your attacks. Add some zeroes, i'd say. With one throw at a tuurngait, he will die.

The gatherers in amnesia don't have a death animation and therefore can't die. It doesn't matter if you turn up your throwing force, they'll just flinch and stagger like usual. Search for " how to kill the infected " in youtube.

I died two times on the worm chase, first i died in the acid and second time i buried myself after crushing the pillar.

The third time i got it right and then noticed my heart racing like crazy.

LoL- I just finished Overture yesterday; but didnt notice there was a second door close switch. I didnt hav time to throw the crates in so just jumped and got hurt a lil bit!

When I did the chase I didn't even see that the first door could be closed. hah And stacking so many boxes isn't really necessary. You can jump over the first acid pit without any boxes, and for the second pushing just one should be more than enough.

I close both doors but I'm too slow at moving the boxes onto the second acid puddle, and I never make it on time. Playing on Hard, by the way. The worm bashes the doors down pretty quickly.

Frantically, I turned it, glancing furtively behind me when it occurred to me that there would be no way the door would open in time.

I hacked at it- the vision my terror growing larger all the time- until I thought I would be within its maw within the minute. In one fleeting moment, my axe shattered the beam and the ceiling collapsed when the worm must have been half a foot in front of me.

Nothing moved.

I finished opening the door and moved into the room beyond, making sure the door was locked behind me.
