  • only trouble is that they will poop in the nest box when perching

  • Great idea...very practical and convenient. :)

  • This is Great!

  • After chicken poop in the grass, do you just step in and drag it into the house?

  • might want to change the hooks on the roof door. raccoons can get into those very easy.

  • that is a good looking chicken coop

  • so do you live in a climate that is a comfortable year round? there's no insulation .. artificial light during the shorter days is a good thing if you want eggs year round. so is this a temporary housing for the yard? I wouldn't put more than 2 hens in that space.. need more room if you want 5 or 6 in there. (you wouldn't want to live in a small 2 bdrm house with 4 or 5 other ppl, would you?)

  • i think its a good starter coop maybe 2 chicks really nice for city folk

  • bro it is a nice designed cage but not ferret and snake proof. I wish you good luck with your new hens. recommend you australorps.

  • hhh you forget the badger or the fox

next morning you wake up with out a chicken

  • It is considered standard to have at least 3-5 sq ft in the coop per full size chicken and 5-6 sq ft in the run per hen. Your tractor, while nice looking and good for temporary use wouldnt be good for 5 hens. You also need one linear ft of roost space per bird too. Very nice looking, but too small.

  • Nice!

  • great job,thanks for sharing
