And, by the way, the lyrics may be hers, but the music was written by Idan Raichel, who is a very talented Israeli musician who collaborates with many different international artists in many languages (from Hebrew to Arabic, Spanish, Swahili and yes, Cape Verdean creole). I think it's in Cape Verdean Creole: It had a root in the portuguese language, but even for me (native Portuguese speaker) it's very difficult to understand. Anyway you can see in Idan Raichel's website. There's a translation of the lyrics.
