This 1989 remake of the Gladys Knight & The Pips 1973 original version, is outstanding, and I personally like this version better than the original, because of the jazzy, more uptempo groove. I remember first hearing this back in 1989, the bridge @5:49 blew my mind, Miles Jaye put it down on this one, and after over two decades, I haven't heard a better remake of another song since this one, premium late 80's R&B/jazz, hands down...
