@ccrogers15 Didn't watch the abandoned ending, did you? The one where Subject Delta (Eleanor's father) died right in front of her eyes? Leaving her stranded in the middle of the ocean? Causing Eleanor not only to leave her mother behind, but to not be able to follow him?

Eleanor is your DAUGHTER in the game. You care about her so much... you feel like you really are her father.... and then... you watch her cry as you start to slip away from the world.

If that's not sad, I don't know what is.

And of course Zack Fair's death should be on this list! Goddamnit, you walk travel with this guy on his journey to be a SOLDIER 1ST Class only to see his beliefs shattered and his friends killed by his hands. So brilliant.

It's the one where Subject Delta dies because he chooses to sacrifice himself. And right in front of Eleanor (Subject Delta's daughter). Right after she killed her mother with her own hands.

@TAAATER1117 Halo reach didnt have a sad ending. In my eyes the only halo game with a sad-ish ending was Halo 3. Mostly because after playing all of the games over about 7 years most of your favourite characters died and John was just left floating in Space. Even if he DID manage to get home one day, everyone he knew would be dead since it would take hundreads of years.
