Man UT2004 was great, but the sniper rifle firing sound really sucked compared to the original UT.

Still though, played the hell out of this one.

I would love to see a mod that Puts the UT99 weapons and movement physics into UT2004. THAT would be the perfect UT game for me.

I have set up online servers as well as a STEAM GROUP to set up matches for Unreal Tournament 1999, 2004, and 3. My User Name: BigSpeck - Steam Group Name: Speck's Unreal /V/idya. Add me on your friends list,So I can contact you when I set up a few matches. You don't need the steam version to play , but having steam makes it easier to know when a match is up.

Hello. I just wanted to ask, do you know if people still play this game online through multiplayer?? I am trying to find a PC FPS game that people can play online. Do you know of any good FPS PC games that you can play others with? I already know about Quake Live( For some reason the damn mouse won't work on that site.) and I already know about Doom 3. I'm just looking for a newer game. Thanks alot!

@kasouyumi Yeah. There are actually quite a lot of people still playing this online. What genre are you into? There are some pretty good cheap ones such as Battlefield 2 (and you get the top-notch mod, Project Reality to go along with it). Also, Team Fortress 2 is now free, so you could check that out on Steam. Just google Steam

@LandB2312 Unreal Tournament never was about story for me, only about dueling and LAN's, so I don't think it really made the game worse, imo.

@LandB2312 YEP its official im the only person who feels UT3 is a great game especially on PS3 with the use of full M/K...To me UT3 is as good as UT99 or any other UT game. Very under rated game.

Bombing run was fun and cool. It's a sport where you can kill the players and there are no fouls. What more do you want?

ut 2004 is the best game in the series and ut 3 it's awesome as well but epic took all those cool modes like bombing run . double domination and assault . but why it's ut 2007 caled ut 3 i mean there are 4 ut games . it should be called ut 4 . can you tell me if you know why it's that ? thanks and btw very awesome video this game is great and fun.

UT3 story was so bad, they would have been better off just not making a story at all. i love ut04, i just got a new pc, and i ordered ut04 editors choice edition for $10. cant wait to play this game again

Yeah exactly. I also miss picking up Medic packs, vital (whatever those small tube health packs are called) and armour - makes the game alot more frantic because people arnt just crouching to regain health

I couldn't agree more. The first bombing run match I played in the SP lasted an hour and a half. I got SO BORED.

Yeah, I actually found bombing run a much more enjoyable game mode once I played it on my own terms in instant action - about 3 a side first to 15 and 5 minutes its a nice diversion from other UT modes. But as it exists in the single player (with so many players which makes scoring nigh impossible) it just detracts from the rest of the game.

@scottishterrierdude I played the first Single Player Bombing Run mission for about 10 minutes before I just started racking up adrenaline, grabbed the ball, and used speed to GTFO! But what's even worse is Double Domination. Your AI buddies are so incompetent, you can set them to offense, but they'll get slaughtered, and if the enemy so much as steps on a control point, you get to hear, "AVERTED".
