nice tutorial however, the background wouldn't render until I figured out that on the default shader images tab You have to set it to render through the camera for the background image.
cool tut, it worked. But I got triangle shaped stars... (yes, the pictures are jpg). Does this go away with better render settings (because at the moment I do quick renders with low settings to evaluate the terrain)?
Hey, first of all thanks for the vid, it is really helpful. I'd like to ask u if you know how to put in my landscapes vegetation. Do I have to download it, to buy? What do I have to do to put trees and everything in my pic? =]
Everything works until I try using the galaxy_starfield image. In the little preview window it's kinda inverted, white background with black stars, and when I render the whole thing, I also get black stars.. Any help?
@MetallicPoison Yeah, I forgot to add that i DID have it as .jpg, if I didn't do it wrong, I rightclicked the image, save as, all files, galaxy.starfield.jpg. That's correct? When I check the image properties of the image it seems to be jpg. I also tried inverting the image in photoshop and add it, it looked exactly the same :p
Ok, so i did the star thing with the lumionsty and diffise color, but it dosent go dark. it goes a bright white and looks really bad when i render? Help please?
@melbournerocker Well, this is just specs. Galaxies, I believe you need to use it with the image map shader. I have no idea how to use the image map shader though... sorry.
Forgot how to add the stars so rewatched this and noticed the CLANNAD files. Epic right there, ive been in a big CLANNAD phase for a few weeks now.

PredatorYT 1 year ago
@PredatorYT Yes, they will. They are kept a triangles due to low render settings or 'quick rendering.' It helps render them faster.

are you still going to make those tutorials?

@Hamppzah Ah, yes, I've encountered this problem. Change the picture's format to .jpg
It should work then.
I should have put that in the video too lol But it was all improv xD;

@Hamppzah Well... try experimenting with different extensions? JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP All that fun stuff

@Chobits3799
You can download a trial.
AlienMoon134 1 year ago
@AlienMoon134 Yes, however, it's not necessarily a 'trial', but moretheless a FREE version.
You are unable to animate (use frames and keyframes), and are unable to place more than three Population nodes.
I bet there are way more limitations, but I'm just naming these ones off the tip of my tongue.

@cvince90 Ah, that happened to me.
Try taking the starfield and changing its file extension to .jpg or .png (whichever it isn't) Then it should work.

I have a question.Your star-field map is not deformed when you render him ? its not converted for a spherical map.
Stars is small its look ok ,but when you want to use a big image with big galaxies on it ,i am sure that will look weird :/
