@juve458 You sound pretty stupid. Re-read your numbers, thousands of Israelis have indeed been killed during the conflict. During the second intifada 540 israelis were killed from suicide bombings ALONE. Not to mentions the scores of people injured and disabled by these attacks. Or the psychological trauma from fear of random terrorism directed against civillians or the weekly firing of rockets and mortars from Gaza (still happening).

I live in Jerusalem now and I can tell you that it is a pretty peaceful place (knock on wood!) these days. Also, 100s of rockets are not fired every day from Gaza. You think a war is on or something? It's true that there are rockets and mortars, but not at all that many.

no offense, but untill u actually experience whats goin on there u cant say u know how it is.
i had to walk for almost 2 hours 2 school because i was afraid to go on the bus, i have 2 friends who got injured in a restaurant bombing.
when i called my mom who still lives there during the lebanon war, the siren went on and she had to run to the bomb shelters.
its all pretty and nice when u just visit and go on vacation, but i would not go back and live there again.

I grew up during the intifadas, it was a catastrophe. Now people in south Israel living in teror of rockets hovering thier heads. People worldwide don't get it because they never felt like being scared for real.

i'm israelian and trust me you dont know how it is to live here. most of the time its just routin, yeah, maybe evry two years theres a war but only the people who live next to the borderline suffer from it, people like me that live in the middle of the country dont live in fear or simething...
we live just like evryone of you and the life go on and the young people dont even talk about it.

gehad1988 - you talking boolsheet.. i lived all my life in the south of israel and in the last 9 years we had bombs on my city every single day from your friends from gaza strip.. we cant enjoy even small things like turn on the radio in the car or close the windows at home and turn on the AC because we might not hear the alarm and the bomb can kill us... so we always have to be prepared.. also my life saved in a miracle because i missed the bus that exploded 200 meters infront of my eyes.......

It's not the people that hate each other, we could all live in peace if it weren't for these radicals on both sides. Maybe some day our governments will be able to work together. Or maybe, Ahmadinejad will be voted out, which might not help with the Supreme Leader really in charge.
But the point is, we don't have each other! I know some great Persian and Arab people. That I love to be around!
