I am 52 and lived through those times, right in the thick of it.  Partied my a** off with some of the finest NYC Mamis from the 5 boroughs. Party, eat, sleep (work a little) and then repeat. My ears are still ringing from those days. Ipanemas, Roseland, Infernos, Townhouse 48, La Bamba, Bonds 48 (Hey you don't touch that touch this) Ochentas, The Lofts, and of course the Funhouse; on the Salsa side; El Corso, Epoca, Knightraxx, Casa Borinquen, Casablanca and many more, had a blast!

THE NUMBER ONE STATION IN THE NATION. Remember. Always was and always will be ! The invented mixing on airwaves. The brought Disco to N.Y. and inspired a whole generation of New Yorkers. I used to like the 92 ktu Van, that was out on the town, especially in summer at the feasts.

at abt 3:15 they start playing "elusive" by babe ruth and I had not heard that in 35 freakin years. No one plays that song ever. twas nice to hear it. first heard it in a disco in el paso texas.
