It could be a loose or bad connector more than likely it's just out of alignment. I'm a technician for Directv so trust me I know. And plus you showed a recording which could have been recorded the day before during a bad storm. Not saying it was just saying your argument holds no water dude. People bitch about shit they don't even know about. Could be a clear barrel problem. like I said it could be alot of things.
hey dumb fuck, maybe you could invent a Satellite than can penetrate through heavy rain. My signal works 99.9% of the time, fucking cry babies when the TV goes out for a few min during heavy rain. How do you the cable company gets there channels?
@SimX9000 Again, as I commented on other people's comments, it was not raining. The signal dropped all the time, completely unrelated to the weather. It would at times work flawlessly for months, and at other times not work well for 24 hours straight.
@thewraithl98 What were your satellite readings? Did you call D* to get them to re-tune your dish? Why complain and upload video, instead of fixing the problem. Line of sight issue with trees? Buildings? If not, re-tune your dish, and you'll be set.
you idiot x2, your satellite was probably down cuz the weather and hd tv have a 1280x800 aspect rasio your tv just piece of shit...its square and projection really ant hd
@74steve66 Did you even watch the video? I walked outside, and it was a perfect, sunny day. Yes it was a DVR recording, but from a few minutes before the actual recording as I note in the video. And it was obvious based on the dry ground that there had been no recent weather, period.
Additionally, the typical aspect ratio for HD video is 16:9. 1280x800 is incorrect . The TV is 4:3 aspect ratio, however the black bars at the top and bottom are because it's displaying in 16:9
@8larios Excuse me? Before you call someone an idiot, you might want to know what you're talking about. It's a 60" 1080i rear projection TV. "HDTV" does not necessarily mean LCD or Plasma. My tv is a few years old, but Mitsubishi and other manufacturers are still making rear projection models today.
it was probably raining at 11:58 am I correct? its 12:35 when you recorded
I hate direcTV though

Your dish is out of alignment or shooting through a tree dude. Get someone who knows how to install it properly and you wont have any problems.

Yeah DirecTV DOES suck...Prices are sky high, for even SD service, their SD picture is very low quality, worse than SD cable overall.
I'm dumping all pay tv service and getting Free To Air Satellite !
I'm pulling the plug soon.
