I only play Front Mission games in Japanese, they're better in that way ;D but thanks to the translated versions people from all over the world can enjoy these great games.
BTW I love the music from this game composed by the dream team: Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Junya Nakano, and Masashi Hamauzu.
Everybody, please buy Front Mission 1st for the Nintendo DS to support Front Mission's success outside of Japan and the possibility of Front Mission 5's localization!
If I had a DS I'd definitely buy it. But please stop posting that same message on my Front Mission videos. Do it one more time and I'll mark it as spam.
cybernator is too hard..this game is more well balanced, and a lot more epic

When you get to the end of a level, and the arrow blinks pointing down, what are you supposed to press?

Post it into the video description.
Or type: "buy this game"
You'll get the message across, free publicity ftw.

When I played this on my SNES emulator, I couldn't save, so I had to play the whole game through without dying. Can you guess how much sleep I lost?

Bahaha, I'll have to remember to take a day off and just do a single-segment playthrough of this monster sometime, all fifteen hours of it :D

Kickass, man! Thanks for posting it up. You do know there's an English patch floating around somewhere for the game though, right? :D

I tried this game out, I went and used a english patch I found online to play this...helped out some.

This reminds me of a certain SNES Mech game which will remain one of my favorites of all time. Looks like I gotta find a copy of this game to play.

That would be Cybernator/Assault Suits Valken, it's because Omiya, the same people that developed Cybernator/ASV helped Square make this.

the first game isn't a strategy RPG?

It is. This is not a direct sequel.
