Suhr Standard basswood/maple + vulcanized maple

How did this wood combination treat you? I've just ordered a guitar based off the GG antique modern, flame maple top instead of 'tree coloured'. I've never had experience with basswood.. But i have a LP with mahog, and all the solo artists use basswood. Just wondering how you find it. :) Nice demo :D

@creation23 Basswood presents a very wide frequencial response, with a lot of lows and nice highs, and it has a very simple voice, a timbre not as complex as mahogany or alder.

In the right place, it is killer, i love it.
