Turns out, Oswald (and Ruby, and the other unfortunates that Garrison uncovered, i.e., Ferrie) were the "patsies" who were involved in a plot to create a simulated assassination attempt on Kennedy.
@radiootoo That's right! If all of the conspiracy theories were correct, Dealey Plaza would have been so packed with assassins the limousine would not have had any room to get through!
David Brinkley, Chet Huntley et al were nothing but propaganda script readers -- encouraging emotional wallowing instead of investigation and analysis. It was a bloody coup. JFK wanted to end the Vietnam War, the Federal Reserve, and CIA autonomy.
Probably because NBC traditionally had a habit of "signing off" after "THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON" ended at 1am(et), 'Will'. You can be sure WNBC-TV in New York stayed on throughout the rest of the night, until the network signed on again [they usually began their Saturday morning schedule at 10am, but went on earlier, for obvious reasons].
Oswald was a patsy. Notice his beat up face. The Dallas cops did that as payback for the cop he was also accused of murdering. It will soon be 50 years ago.
@mytvmemories Oswald had a very good reason for claiming to be a "patsy" on TV: he knew some morons would actually believe him. Yet he never proclaimed his innocence to his wife, brother and mother when they visited him in jail. He knew they knew him too well.
@keno8spot You obviously haven't even READ the Warren Commission and House reports, have you? Every pathologist who's seen the autopsy photos says they're genuine and both bullets came from behind. That's consistent with the Zapruder film and Zapruder's verbal description. The Parkland doctors were not pathologists. They only worked on JFK for 22 minutes to save his life, never turning him over, and most still described the big wound on the right side of his head. The rest are simply wrong.
@ApolloWasReal if you want to believe that a malcontent killed jfk on his own and then just happened to get blown away 2 days later in front of the world and thats the end of the story.
when something is all wrapped up in a nice perfect little package watch the other hand
@keno8spot I wouldn't believe it if not for a mountain of evidence saying exactly that.
But hey... if you can provide hard evidence that not only leads to a different conclusion AND overcomes everything in that existing mountain of evidence -- and withstand decades of intense scrutiny -- well, I'm all ears.
Problem is, all you have is your personal incredulity. Sorry, not enough.
@ApolloWasReal well one thing seems apparent i will never buy the warren report and you will never believe it is not the truth ive been to dealey plaza twice a better ambush point on the planet doesnt exist who had the most immediate gain with jfks death-lbj who wanted the presidency more than anything else i will tell you one thing my friend the world changed forever that day look at the downward spiral that still hasnt stopped
@keno8spot I'd definitely change my position on the Warren Commission report given just one thing: Evidence that actually stands up to scrutiny. So far you haven't provided any. All you have is your suspicion of various people in government. Your position says far more about you than about what actually happened.
I think VP Lyndon Johnson who was going to jail for corruption and murder led the coup with FBI Director J Edgar Hoover was the man in charge of forging evidence.
It would take both men to pull off the lie of the century. It took Hoover to hide the information that would have blown the lid off the cover up.
See my video series THE BIG LIE that begins the explanation of how LBJ and Hoover pulled this off.
NBC caught hell for signing off their coverage at 1 AM ET. CBS and ABC stayed on the air all night and broadcast the video of the casket arriving at the White House at around 4:30 AM.

Oswald did kill JFK but I tottaly agree the SS Where majorly involved in the Assasination Of JFK, If you watch a video from just before President Kenedys death a senior member of the SS called the 2 Agents assigned to stand behind kenedy on special steps on the rear of the car to cover him from the rear, away, The 2 Agents Where Shocked By This, If these 2 agents hadnt been called away Kennedy WOULD NOT have been assasinated That day,
Here's more relating to my comment immediately below. McGee told viewers there was no way to calculate all the words that had been uttered that day about this horrible event, and added that none could sufficiently explain the depth of the sorrow that each of the viewers themselves were feeling. Then he said, "I suppose the answer for that lies in the heart of each of us." Then he struggled to regain his composure, and closed with the remarks I noted in my previous post. Amazing work by McGee.
McGee's work on this day was astonishing. And his remarks in the early morning hours on November 23rd, after having been on the air for 12 hours, are some of the most eloquent ever uttered by a newsman. This clip ends just short of those remarks, but after telling the viewers that the horror and sadness of this day would never be forgotten, McGee regained his composure just long enough to close by saying "November 22, 1963. Into the history books, marked with the blackness of this day, indeed."
David Brinkley, Chet Huntley et al were nothing but propaganda script readers -- encouraging emotional wallowing instead of investigation and analysis. It was a bloody coup. JFK wanted to end the Vietnam War, the Federal Reserve, and CIA autonomy.

JFK passed an Execution Order six months before his assassination.
This Executive Order would allow the Federal government to print money based on a silver standard.
This order was the beginning of the end of the Federal Reserve Bank.
Look what the Feds have done to this country, the FEDS are private bankers, they have robbed our country, and JFK knew it.
He was putting an end to the FEDS,, and "they" murdered him.
