Yeah, amazing how at that time their (MAW) minimum fee was £15,000 for a remix. MK has created a version of this that's nothing short of delicious. I will never tire of this and that piano sends shivers :-)

I cannot tell you how many times I've played this MK mix over the years. MK did lots of stunning remixes/dubs over the years, but I think he really outdid himself here - he managed to do the impossible: take a MAW original track, completely overhaul it, and take it into deeper/darker underground house territory. Genius mix. Takes you back to 1992 era when house was king.

i remember house mUsik back in the day when i was in middle skool in 1992 house musik was and still is the shiit, i stay in L.A. and this radio station by the name of Power-106 used to play house musik all day/do these live mixes it was the bomb!

@ISBAILEYDEADYET - I agree totally. I'm just listening to this once again... Wow, its the strings, the bass, the way the voice comes in and out and the simple 4/4 drum line. But I think its the way the strings and voice have been laid down on this. He was something else to House music at this time of his career. Maybe he didn't realise it at the time but he was such a breath of fresh air to the Music. Mk, Maw, Kerri and Blze were making some seriously good music at this time. But Mk thanks man!

There are so many things to love in this remix that he did for Masters at Work. The Piano work, the strings that come in out of this tune, the sampled voices that he uses that are soulful and funky, the funky bass line that is incoporated, and the simple House drum beat that makes this great to listen to or dance to. Everyone loved Mark "Mk" Kinchen. He had hits way before this, but this one was the one that you allowed a wider audience to fall in love with what he was doing. Either via the club dj's all around the country (England) now fully engrossed into his remixes, pirate radio shows in london (Going Mk crazy), or hearing his songs within the nightclubs within the Tv show (Here in England) called "Hit man & Her". He will always be remembered within House and Garage music. Thanks Mk for this remix!

First heard this when Julian Jonah did a guest mix on Judge Jules show in 1993. He played this and Uncanny Alliance-Got my education which were new back then.

It was that year that house trance and everything else did a split in London. Judge Jules went and did his thing and the rest of us kept the faith with our love of New York/New Jersey/Chi-town and London house music.
