The tall chap didn't think that he was being suggested what to do while his ears were plugged, but Derren kept putting his hands up to his head, and probably did so more than what the editing shows. watch pro skiiers or other athletes visualizing before a run, you can see them twitch and shift balance as if they were really skiing.

@Ceejayanthirium No they are not in on it. You have to study NLP and a form of "seduction" in order to understand and practice this. It is an extremely powerful technique, I have practiced this in night clubs and bars on very beautiful women a few years ago and it works like a charm - but you have to study it carefully for a couple of years first. @mekkabon I started heckling magicians from the age of 12. I am less of an asshole now, but its still pretty easy for me to spot a trick. Especially mind games like when Chris Angel makes leading suggestions which steer people to think of what he wants them to. I have never witnessed spoon bending but I trust the word of Michael Chrichton who has done it.
