Thanks for posting these fantastic cartoons , and even more , thanks for Rankin/ Bass for giving us great cartoons like this. It's also at a time when the Osmond Brothers and the Jackson 5 were the darlings of the 70's.
you should watch the movie the jacksons american dreams. that movie tells the things that happened to micheal and his family before and after they were famous. micheals father discovered the boy's talent and so did motown records.
No, It was actually Gladys Knight, but during the time Diana Ross had more fame and Motown thought that it'll be better if Diana Ross introduce them since she was in the spotlight during the time..
That is true You know what joe jackson said " if it wasnt for me it you wouldnt be who you are today" whatever Dianna Ross is the one thats been there for them expecialy Michael

And while we are still recovering from Micheal Jackson's sudden death, this
Cartoon series is still a testiment to how his popularity began. this was a
pretty impressive cel animated series under Rankin/Bass and Halas-Batchler
supervision. ABC had a so-so Saturday morning schedule for the 71-72 season,
but this, and "CURIOSITY SHOP" were the two acceptions!
