  • I agree about the cards placement in relation to the cooler. You can put a box fan in your room, but it does no good against the wall. Sure the blades will spin, but you won't get any airflow. You killed your cfm's with that setup & the top fan will only vent the case not the cpu. Basically....just because it fits doesn't mean you should use it. With those games the temps will run very high, and will need better cooling. Of course, you can't get return customers if the pc actually lasted....lol.

  • Them fans are disgusting imo :/

  • Skips the bit of him getting the fans into the heatsink because they are a bitch!

  • The only one that we sell the ASUS QuietTrack.

  • Also, what DVD drive is being used in this setup?

  • Will the EVGA GeForce GTX 550 work with this setup? According the the pictures of the graphics card, it looks like it would not fit, but I was just wondering if I could before buying.

  • @TheArcherHunter its smaller then a GTX 580 so I am sure it would fit just fine.

The only cards that would be more questionable are a MARSII or something really crazy

  • @1and1isme Thanks, I think I will be using this setup.

  • The price to buy all the parts ?

  • What's the budget of this?

  • spreading the thermal compound?

lol. you clearly dont understand the principle/s behind it.

  • NO!!!! Don't spread that compound!!!AH!!!!!

  • lol, quiet!? Yeah sure how not! XD

  • you sucks you computer sucks you life sucks to you smel you esol и иди ты нахуй типа смотрите какой я крутой и какие у мну яйца крутые иди ты педик в жопу со свойм компьютером у тебя не комп а дерьмо суууууука

  • Yeah only about $4,200 worth of equipment if buying online... :/

  • Be careful with the computer idiot. Jamming all the parts on it hard

  • Actually you only need 1333 MHz DDR3 memory because the Intel CPU will lower any memory down to 1333 MHz. It won't let me post the links but go to intel.com and look up the RAM compatibility with the i-series.

  • Can you give me a link to where I could find all those parts or tell me how much it all cost pls?

  • great video, but i have to make fun of you at how you mumble so bad i cant understand you haha

  • @aylera I'm not sure but I think that might be an accent of some sort :3

  • electric bill is gunna be through the roof this month lol jk. how much did it cost you to buy all the parts? kinda a major thing you left out of the video,

  • How much did this cost? :o

  • mhmm now exactly how much did this cost you to get the parts please?!

  • Ye... so much air between the graphic cards.

  • Tommy Wiseau building a pc, lol :)

  • That's 1 big ass radiator

  • i was distracted by how sexy the kick drum in the background tune sounds

  • good video

  • this video is not that good.. you can find better tutorials

  • Soo ... how much would this cost in Britsh Pound Sterlin?

  • omg 4.8ghz and that quite running 2 gtx580s and playing metro 2033? JEEEEZUUS! The laptop im typing this comment on is louder than watching a movie @2ghz and intergrated graphics lol. And the fking great part i have $4.2k to spend on a rig (after saving for 6 years since i purchased my laptop) im so happy right now im going to be able to afford all of this!

  • @thequantumgamers, hi bro AMD are bringing out a card in january 2012 i think its called radeon 7970 which supposed to be the fastest card on the market as far as i know. There is a review at techspot.com

  • i wish i could afford this

  • O.O did u say 4.8 ghz? holy fuck!

  • screw that headset ill stick with my astro a40

  • YOU FAIL!!! WITHOUT SAFE NOT GOOD! YOU DUMP!

  • I dont get the point of having several Video graphics card. It kinda contradicts itself, and just makes the computer worth twice as much. I know it works stronger, but it's better if you just buy a GTX 580 it could run practically anything for the next easily 10-15 years.

  • @JustTwoRidiculous you mean 2-5 years

  • @TheQuantumGamers Well GTX580 is extremely high-end like the top of the chain. It'd take a long ass time maybe 10 years depending on how fast we grow on technology for it to be in the crapper where you'd laugh if they had it in a computer. Were getting really close to the end of reality in video games. How much more real. All we need is a simulator, and real looking stuff. Then boom how much further can we go?

  • @JustTwoRidiculous till it looks like its real life...

  • @TheQuantumGamers So it'll be a while till that happens, and the GTX580 wont go anywhere soon

  • @JustTwoRidiculous thats true....... i hate you.... jk

  • can i has this?

  • I have B-Day at 2.08 :D Nice

  • How much does this system roughly costs(without the monitor, mouse, keyboard and headset)?

  • No offence guys all im hearing is bla bla bla. If anyone chooses to build a Pc like yours there allready a bit advanced so your just bla bla bla for nothing...

  • i would buy just 1 graphics card and spend the saved money on a proper watercooling sys. and oc it :)

  • What does placing 3 graphics card does? To connect it to more monitors or better graphics?

  • @AbsoluteMi Three cards are a waste of money..The eye cant tell the difference between 2 or 3 card so i cant tell why people use so many cards..Even if you have a 55 inch monitor one card can even handle that..What it is now is braging rights thats all it is..

  • Hi there. Can you tell me the difference between the two:

    2 x 1.5GB GTX 580 and 1 x 3GB GTX 580.

Which of the two is better? Two cards or single card with the same amount of memory? Thanks! :)

  • @yojgee VRAM is almost irrelevant when i comes to overall performance. Pick up two MSI Lightning GTX 580s and you'll shit all over any game right now. Frames wise, at least.

  • so could u put 3 of them graphics cards on this motherboard sorry im new to this

  • @IronWarrior08 Actually right now this very system is running with 3 cards. So yes you can.

  • @acousticpc thx, would i need to connect them all together or just put the 3 cards in if that makes sence

  • @acousticpc is it better with 2 or 3 cards

  • @acousticpc Thanks for the vid, I am tech savvy built a rig 10 years ago since then I've been buying dell and because of the lack of quality I'm building a new gaming rig with liquid cooling/SLI and SSD with raid0 HDD. Technology has changed alot so this gives me a better idea on how to hook up the new gear. Thanks!

  • @acousticpc Can you inbox me EXACTLY everything that u used to build this with links to were to buy them so i can build it? I know u probably said in the vid but i want a message.

  • @acousticpc wats the point of having more than 1. im new at this too

  • @IronWarrior08 in fact now they even have it to where you can run 4 cards, but i would not reccomend that, you dont get very much more preformance out of it and your cards heat up too much. and they dont have very good drivers for that yet

  • hi, can you or anyone please tell me what disk drive you are using here. Thank you

  • @k4270x

  • I cant get out of my head the fact that you decided put the outer cpu fan so close to the graphics cards and not to the top side of the heatsink or not to install it at all. It might be just me but i think moving that fan would make better airflow through the heatsink. Just a thought...

  • @K4270X Thank you for the comment. There is def/ many diffrent ways to instal the cooler, we could have even added a third fan. Remeber thius case has top fans. so we felty that iy was not neccessary. We also liked the idea of working with the top fans since heat rises it gave us better temps, but every system is diffrent... installing the traditional way we felt it would be fighting to exhaust the warm air out the back. Every Rig is diffrent this one really worked out well trust me!

  • @acousticpc Ofc there are multiple ways to install those fans but covering over half of the bottom fan with the card might cause heat difference between the cores and it makes the middle fan do more work sucking air through the lower half of the heatsink. This why i would expect the single fan in the middle to perform better alone. Also if you want really tweak the dBs of the cpu cooler it might better take that lower fan away than leave it there. Just small tweaks, but you are the pros here

  • Lol. I just ordered the exact same Articlean and thermalpaste recently

  • Can you please put details of stuff that you used and avarage price in the description.

  • @fruxoN We never put prices, as prices fluctuate. In our web site AcousticPC(DOT)com you can always check the prices and detail information of each product. These how too videos we provide are meant to be a tutorial / guide on to actually build the PC. Please visit our web site Acoustic PC to purchase our products or for pricing and product details. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the tutorial.

  • Too long.

  • @AlwaysMoreDigital I also felt it was long but our tech wanted to try something diffrent instead of making a 4 part video like our other How to build a quiet PC he decided to do it all in one shot! I do appreciate your comments, likes on the video, subscription and feed back with out this these videos would not be poissible. We like to know what our viewers prefer. So your comments are helpful. I hope you enjoyed the video and build anyway. best regards Acoustic PC administration.

  • How much did this all cost? (Inc monitor and Win 7)

  • Damn I wish I had some money right now, I'd so buy all these components, just to build a rig like this... lol

  • @IIIBiGWoRMIII This video is for show an Extreme PC, but one card could play any game on highest settings, sure you will get more FPS and performance from dual or triple SLI, we will be posting a triple sli update video soon, But you can build a very good machine with out spending so much on hardware and play the latest games. contact us directly and we will advise you how. We also will be posting soon a budget gaming build perhaps next week. YOU may be interstead in watching that video.

  • Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me. Very nice job -3

  • @Queenie2Die4 Thanks for watching, im glad you like the video :) We appreciate your positive comment and feed back, with out that these videos would not be possible.

  • @ TheGambrinusOne. The backplate was installed wrong . In my opinion the CPU cooler was too. I have that CPU cooler myself & know from personal experiance that by installing it that way round your sucking in hot air directly from the graphics cards & with it being so close to the Graphics card your reducing the air flow. Thus not cooling the CPU as well as it could be. And @ babydash123 water cooling is NOT ALWAYS that quiet as there can be as many fans used. I know having both types.

  • Thanks, that was an interesting vid. Made me realize that I need to upgrade my PC case. :-)

  • The backplate for the CPU cooler was installed wrong. There are notches on the backplate that should line up with the the screws on the back of the motherboard.

  • watercooling is more quiet ^^

  • @babydash123 There is nothing wrong with water-cooling as a matter a fact we sell those components as well. However you have to take into consideration it's more costly, you have risk of leak, maintanace to deal with and you still have to use fans anyway! Since water-cooling works with ambient temps as well the diffrence is minimal and when comapred to the cost most dont feel it is worth it and beleive me this systems is very quiet and if you add soundproofing foam even silent!.

  • @babydash123 Also we were able to Overclock with this FANTASTIC AIR COOLER the 3.2Ghz CPU completley stable to 4.8Ghz and could have pushed it even further. But we considered perfect stablity is important. consider three degrees lower temps paying 100 approx per degree for liquid, and again this air cooler is super silent, maintance free with no risk unlikje a watercooled PC. We also support water cooling just providing the pros and cons. We do appreciate your comments and feed back.

  • @acousticpc atleast i like watercooling more than air... : )
