Mathis has a great voice, that is certain. However, I'm not at all comfortable with the lyrics, whether sung by French kids or English.

I have listened to just about everything Vox Angeli have produced, and find the French language recordings to be vastly superior to the English, even though I'm a native English speaker. I think that my favorite is "Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer".

I prefer Libera's Latin recordings. Maybe it's because as a child I used to sing in Latin.
