Direct democracy can be bad too.... think about slavery. All i need is a constitution and a government that enforces voluntary contracts, my life, and my freedom to choose whatever i want as long as I dont harm someone else's ability to do so. EVerything else can be handled on a state or local level via direct democracy though.

Whatever you call it, you need certain things outlawed. Private central banking, usury and lobbying. Then, people have to establish what it is their communities are living for. Plunder from without and within? Then labor laws do not matter. Moral betterment of their own citizens? Educating all to the furthest degree possible? Then make it so entrepreneurs beyond small businesses can only take 5% of the profits, with the rest going to workers, schools, long term community goals.

The Wehrmacht's advance was quick and out stretched the supply lines thus giving the Soviet's time to reinforce positions! Hitler thought that a surrender would come very quickly and didn't plan on the war lasting into the winter. He wanted to neutralise the USSR before invading the UK.
