  • I owned that Rambo set...used it for G.I. Joes though! Love it!

  • saturday mornings a bowl of cereal and these cartoons and i was good to go

  • an ad for Rambo during GI Joe? Does it get any more manly than that? ;p

  • its funny how our culture was less violent when we had rambo cartoons than now when everything is spongebob and dora.

  • A Rambo commercial after G.I. Joe? Did Hasbro make Rambo toys?

  • Comment removed

  • @pladuk68= And you obviously play with yourself when your inflatable girlfriend springs a leak. Owned.

  • This is probably the most graphically animated depection of actual combat .

They even got the spent shells looking good.

  • gripper was my favorite

  • they sure don't mae 'em like they used to.

perfect timing on GIJoe part. it fits right in.

  • I had this toy it was soo awesome. I think my mother accidentally threw it away in the trash :(

  • I remember one Christmas my grandma bought me every Rambo figure they had, what a day!!

  • Little kids will learn how to blow up vietnamese guard post towers xD

  • whats next a freaking SCARFACE toy

  • the funny thing about rambo animated is,how much bullets that rambo fired from his m16 believe it or not no body dies...lol

  • parents need to remember ... violence for young kids is nothing new, especially toys based off a rated R movie ... i had at least 4 Rambo figures when i was about 6 years old, and I loved every minute of it

    I LOVE THE 80s !!!!!

  • I had that Rambo action figure, it was epic.

  • Rambo taught lessons on each episode of the cartoon, about topics such as freedom, respecting different cultures and honesty. New cartoons depict a retarded sponge itching his butt and giggling. Kids toys and action figures today are politically correct and dumbed-down for the masses. Cartoons with crappy drawings and retarded voices such as Spongebob are polluting children's minds.

  • @hectorsalina: I kinda disagree on SpongeBob, it does have some good messages every so often...........but yeah, Rambo owns. =)

  • @hectorsalina You got all that from the Rambo cartoon? All i got was something to sell a toy line.

  • Based off a charming film for all ages!

  • Becouse Back then it didnt matter what a movie was rated cuz people didnt care. Now its all about kids and not to "mess them up" but back then they didnt care.

  • kids should be playing with this kind of stuff today instead of all those sissy toys...we need to build a nation of commandos

  • why such a crappy tune, especially as the movies had such memorable riffs

  • Can you imagine Rambo toys now? Especially after the last film.

Soldiers that turn into meat patties after been hit with 50 caliber rounds. Or they come with disembowling action.

    Now that would be crazy.

I'm glad there's an adult toy market now.

  • better than barbie!

  • @AlexXAxel, don't know if you noticed, but there was annimation in the commercial too.

Now let's see if you can put 2 and 2 together...

  • Back when toys made men. not gay ass little animals that fight

  • wasnt rambo rated an 18?

  • man fuck G.I Joe RAMBO FTW

  • rambo is almost as epic as chuck norris

  • @penguinbubby1 that wudnt have meant much u wudve oblivious to wut was going to be scared

  • how ironic kids playing with rambo toys, when the movie was r rated

  • @penguinbubby1 ...then you had irresponsible parents.

  • I had the Rambo Uzi water gun, that thing looked fuckin real, no orange tip ether

  • God I wish i could have been a kid in these times. toys with real guns based on cartoons with real guns, no its no violence all peace, when peace will never happen.

  • @ethan666999 me too. i had a knive toy of rambo with the necklace the girl gave him in rambo 2 and it was just the knive and toy sheath and necklace set. but it was awesome and now i use the rambo soundtrack in my new airsoft training vids and woodland survival vids on mt hood in the forest where i live and make tactical vids

  • better days

  • As we all know Rambo is quite a kids movie...

  • Things are SO politically correct, these days, that you have to join the army to get toys like these.

  • now if they release toys like that people would scream "too much violence.!" where did the times go? I wish i could go back to the 80's, even though I was four when Rambo III came out. lol

  • Man, i bet a modern day kid with those toys would still kick some serious ass!!

  • @ethan666999 LOL!!!!

  • omg that truck shot at the end is pretty epic for a toy!

  • ur damn right!! your talkin' about Rambo!! A one man killing machine!!

  • According to Joe Guide-this commercial plugged G.I. Joe's 4th season episode called "The Second Hand Emotions".

  • right on, thought I was the only one who had that set lol

  • and then you went where the ghetto kids were and they beat your ass with real knives and Uzis lol j/k man I miss all my stuff to =/

  • I had the machine gun with the bayonet on it. It had a plastic bullet "ring" that would run through it when you fired it. It had a bunch of other removable crap on it including a tripod. Those toys were fucking awesome.

  • is it weird that i'm 21 & i wish i had this? lol

  • RAMBOOO! LOL

  • My brothers and I had rambo and trautman, we used them as wrestlers along with our wwf action figures.. It was great stuff man.

  • i had commando dont know how i bought it

  • i have that toy ......lol....its at my mom's house

  • 0:25

    what a cool explosion xD

  • one thing that i find funny about the cartoons back then like GI JOE or RAMBO. nobody seems to get "killed" when they take a shot at each other. pilots will automatically rip the parachutes or fall into some water which just "appeared" whenever their planes get gunned down. haha. thats oldschool censorship i guess. haha

  • Not censorship, just no animated killings of characters, to make it more kid friendly & non violent in content by Hasbro, as the series where made as commerical for the toys. I thought it was lame as a kid myself back then & spoiled the series as a result..

Marvel comics however depicted battle casualties & kills in their drawn series of GI JOE.

  • I believe children - who grew-up during the 'Cold War' should be considered as veterans of the 'Cold War' too. LOL.

  • how much were these back in the days? $1? Action figures go for about $20 these days..

  • i think around 5-8 dollars..

  • who would win a fight........rambo or gi joe????

  • chuck norris

  • Batman

  • Trautman

  • I still have both shirtless & shirtless Rambo, Kat, Turbo, Trautman, T.D., Warhawk, Havoc, Gripper, Mad Dog & Dr. Hyde and all their weapons.

  • its weird that they put adult movies into toys lol

  • too bad we cant send him to iraq and save our troops instead the force of freedom!!!!!love that "rambo!'jingle

  • if i just had that toy when i was little :'(

  • I just made a Rambo action figure custom...Cobra Commander and all of the Cobra organization has something to worry about.

  • why was the guy shooting at the sky?

  • You what's gonna fail this mission? get rid of those hands that are holding them.

I remember me and my bro got 2 action figures of Rambo, unfortunately, both didn't survive the mutilation we gave to them.

  • God, I wanna go back in time.

  • i feel like that somtimes

  • they were gonna rape that chick

  • For some reason, I could never get my toys to perform great choreographed action sequences as these kids in the commercials always did....

  • nothing says fun for kids than a toy based on one of the most violent films ever

  • Hey, back then, anything was up for grabs.
