  • thats a fast srt what size turbo in theres no way it runing on PUMP gas making 700whp ur runing on race or something

  • @kushbreed420

Correct, this is just our 21 psi pump gas tune. It took 29 psi and race fuel to make 719 WHP. This is just showing what the car can do with pump gas on low boost.

  • @ptperformance what t turbo... you guys have to be runiing on meth or somthing to

  • @kushbreed420

S374 BorgWarner turbo, nope no meth. The car made 609 WHP at 24 psi with no meth, no race fuel. The current tune we are running in this video is 21 psi, no meth pump gas. The car is a beast!

  • @ptperformance dammm.... you got that fire tune if your runing 93 when you did the 700whp did you use q17......

  • @kushbreed420

C16 to make 700 + WHP and the street pull was only 550 WHP.

  • @ptperformance if the street pull was only at 550 whp... why is this video titled 700+ whp??

hell, i could put a stock civic on here and say, 800+ whp civic.. but then later in the comments, i just say, oh... this video was just when it was on stock tune. just because the car has made 700+ whp. which, dont get my wrong, im not doubting that one bit.. but that has nothing to do with this video if in its current state it is at 550 whp. im just confused as to why you lied in your title.

  • @dynodrew44

Because the race gas tune was boring to watch, no matter what gear I was in it would only spin the tires and peg the redline. It was cool to see the tires spin to 200 MPH, but it only lasted for 4 seconds. This was the best video I could get showing the power of the car without boring people to death.

  • @ptperformance sooooo, why not be real and put the title as 550 whp?

  • @dynodrew44

Because the car makes 700 WHP, not 550. What I should do is give a title of a SRT4 doing a burnout to 120 MPH!

  • Every time i watch this clip, it inspires me to keep going with my srt. Pay no attention to these haters because haters are going to hate lol

  • @ACRSRT4

Its nothing that bothers me anymore, we are very happy with our results and next race season we will have more goodies to reveal.

  • so.. is the knock sensor functioning on this one?

  • @TheSudspeed

Knock sensors have been adjusted according to the engineers at Dodge. Taking the knock sensor calculations from the stock turbo to the stage 3 turbo and applying those to the new compressor map of the turbo we are running. This has given us the perfect knock sensor range for 1500 RPM to 7400 RPM. Anything over 7400 RPM is creating to much nose for the knock sensor and its always firing. So yes, the knock sensor is functioning.

  • @ptperformance so after 7400 it's basically off...and this thing is revvign past 8K to 8500 if i remember correctly, so.. that's 1,100 RPM in the high end with no knock sensor function to speak off.. Might be a reason the block likes to rip apart/ send things through it?

  • @TheSudspeed

Maybe you are not understanding. The knock sensor goes full active after 7400/7500 RPM. The motor is making so much "noise" that keeping the knock sensor active will do good for power production. If you are responsible with your WOT timing tables and monitor your spark plugs you will never see knock above this RPM. The problem is not with the block, its a problem with RPM. The higher RPM doesn't allow the crank to recover quick enough, hence bending the crank.

  • @ptperformance

true, you can determine whether or not there is kncok by reading the spark plugs although if your flexing the crank that badly at that high of RPM, why not get it ion nitride coated? it's only like $120 plus shipping.

anyway.. i'm curious now as to what the plugs look like.

  • @TheSudspeed

We have tried two different types of nitriding processes, both failed. Now we are getting the cranks "hipped", this process will allow the crank to be 70% more rigid but will not make it more brittle. It will flex yet return to its original shape. We are very excited about our new cranks, and should have one in the shop car early spring ready for race season. After we have the crank tested, we will be adding them to the list of items for the SRT4 Neon.

  • Thanx for the vid. Pay no attention to the know it all children on here.

  • holy shit this car is fast! good job!

  • @70Chevelledude

    Thank you!

  • That look scary as hell!

  • @Roq999

Its not bad with the 20 psi tune, 24 psi it starts to get a little scary, 30 psi I will never drive on the street again.

  • 700hp on little dodge engine?lol, that won't last long especially with you hardcore redlining that thing

  • @891trigfoot

Actually it has lasted over two years now. The first motor was hurt because of an OEM tone wheel, the second motor was a bent crank (whoops, they don't like 8500 RPM). This last motor has been great, we just have to get a better crank inside of the motor so we can take it out past 8500 RPM, which we are working on right now. Stay tuned, we are shooting to be the first 1000 WHP SRT4.

  • @ptperformance Red sled is over 1000WHP.

  • @justaneonlol

I have never seen any dyno results to prove this. Next, if it were running that much WHP it would be running quicker in the 1/4 mile. Crawford was running 960 + WHP and was able to turn 7's with his set up. The Mopar race car was running a little more, and they were very close to low 7's. To date, I have never seen a 1000 WHP SRT4 dyno chart.

  • @ptperformance search the srtforums, it's there. It made around 1300 WHP, and that was a couple years ago.

  • @justaneonlol

You are talking about the 1/4 mile dyno sheet that they posted? That didn't have any HP numbers attached, LOL. It was just a curve with RPM and time... no numbers were on that sheet.

  • @ptperformance No, a legit dyno sheet. I'm guessing you're Jon? The one who scammed a ton of people.

  • @justaneonlol

Show me the legit dyno sheet.

I have never scammed anyone and if you can find that one person I will issue a $100 cashiers check for resolving that matter for me. Its our competition that is making the claims that we scammed people, not customers.

  • so that was a 4th gear top out at 165'ish, so whats fifth do?

  • @SrtRacerBoy

225 at 9k, we will find out soon enough. Next time we hit the dyno we will be doing 5th gear pulls to verify top speed.

  • @ptperformance is this correct? your sayin 225 mph?

  • @oinkyerdoinkyerzwazz

5th gear at 9330 RPM = 218 MPH. If we push it, we should be able to make it to 225 MPH, fingers crossed.

  • @Marshmallowrex

Correct, if you look at the boost gauge (far right of the screen) you can tell its only running 20 psi. This is our 700 WHP shop car running at 20 psi for a quick steet pull. With the 30 psi tune loaded on the car its just to dangerous to drive on the street, it will spin the tires to 160 MPH, that is that tune that we made 700 + WHP on. Hope that clears everything up.

  • I liked watching your Temp gauge say "FUCK YOU!!" lol but nice SRT man

  • @moparpunk1

Never hit 200 degrees, so I am happy with that!

  • @ptperformance Nice man nice!! lol Great car btw

  • @moparpunk1

Thank you, we will have more releases on this car over the winter. Just got the new crank... so 1000 WHP here we come.

  • @ptperformance just wondering if you got the 1000hp set up done yet?The date now is 10.07.2011

  • @oinkyerdoinkyerzwazz

Not yet, we have suffered crank failures like the rest of the market. We have the new crank sitting here and are just waiting for the pistons and rods to show up. We decided to go with a longer rod to help with the poor rod ratio of the SRT4 motor. This should also help with keeping the new crank from bending.

  • i was wondering if you coukd email me the parts you have into the car i was looking to upgrade my srt

  • @srt4neon8412

Please send us an email at ptperformance@comcast.net

or call the shop at 253-887-8305

    Thanks

  • HOLY SHIT

    THIS IS FREAKIN FAST

  • @hpfupgrade thanks, I've been trying to find a car that gets good mpg but is still fast as hell

  • Dude what's the mpg on that car? Is it a good street car or just racing?

  • @shhorty1911 If you stay out of the throttle the MPG is around 26. If you get on the gas and have a night of racing, plan on filling up twice in a night. I have seen a little at 80 miles in one tank of fuel.

  • @shhorty1911

We get 24 to 28 MPG when cruizing, WOT is something like .5 MPG... you can watch the gas gauge drop if you do a 2nd - 5th gear pull.

  • Nice vid im jealous. Only making 500 right now. Also can u let mole know that he is a fag. Lol

  • @wideopendrifting Will do, LOL. Get to making some more power, its amazing what the difference is from 500 to 600 WHP.

  • Awesome. I'm making around 600 right now but still on a log manifold and 38mm WG. What are the benefits of the twin WGs and at what point are they needed?

  • @lowrance122 Twin gates will give better boost control when you spool up larger turbos like this. Back pressure can become a real problem and when running divided manifold with equal runners you want to make sure you don't merge the gate into the divided runners, it will hurt the division of the manifold.

  • So what t4 manifold are you using Jon? I'm guessing it's tubular but who made it?

  • @lowrance122 Its our manifold, its a divided twin scroll with twin 45mm Turbosmart Ultra gates on it. I also installed two 2" dump tubes for the gate. Its runs a full 4" downpipe right off the turbo.

  • damn right hahahha

  • this turbo is has 20psi or more left in the map. lets see a zeta 3. whatever make 1000whp.

  • wow you got vtec..... haha.... nice tho.....

  • @MrTurbo4G63T I wish I had some sort of vtec, LOL. Thanks, we are going to be back on here soon with more "POWER"

  • can i buy this car off you?

  • @RealDjSkeet Yes, just send me an email.

  • wow, that what i was hoping to have in my srt b4 i crashed it!!!

  • wat turbo zeta 3.2 or deta 75???

  • @forgedmazdaspeed its a borgwarner s374r which makes the zeta or the delta turbo's look like babies.

  • @srt4monster well u have 700 whp but u can get the same power whit a zeta 3.2 lol ???

  • @forgedmazdaspeed already have.

  • @forgedmazdaspeed about the same lol

  • @forgedmazdaspeed Borg Warner S374 with the race cover and divided T4 housing.

  • fucking christ the speedo cant move fast enough lol and that was only 4th gear!! whats the top speed?

  • @yz250rida74 We have not tested it yet but based on the math, 214 MPH should be the top speed.

  • @ptperformance damn lol thats pretty damn quick haha

  • holy balls thats some power!!!!!!!

  • Damn! now thats some serious power!

  • @ACRSRT4 Thanks!

  • Ahh this is sick! You guys reputation is about to skyrocket back up and I couldn't be happier for yall!

  • Damn, looks like a helluva fun car to drive. Odd question here, but is that St. John's Progressions into Trance playing in the background? LOL

  • @Slammed0 It might be, its what I had playing on the radio at the time.

  • Damn! FAST

  • @jthaoz Thanks!

  • what camera and mount did you use?

  • @conner12893 The one that comes with the Hero HD.

  • what hp does it make on the 20psi pump tune?

  • @edub2200 Around 550 WHP on pump gas.

  • Is that on pump gas?

  • @skangel10 Yes pump gas at 20 psi (if you look close you can see the boost gauge in the top right corner).

  • @ptperformance Thats a VERY nice job, well done, congratulations!

  • @skangel10 Thanks, hope to have more videos posted soon.
