I was one of the fans lucky enough to meet (and hug!) him during a meet and greet back in 2005. He really is down to earth and genuine. Such a lovely person. Meeting a favourite musician really gives a fan perspective. Yes, they're famous and their faces are in print and all over the media. But guess what? They're just people like you and I. It's wonderful, and I will always respect Trent no matter what.

He looks in fantastic shape for having got off the drink and drugs and he seems comfortable in his own skin, at last.

Being a recovoring addict myself, I can sort of understand. Once you get off the drugs and have been off them for some time, you know that you've cracked it and you will never go back; it makes you feel free, proud and in some sense un-touchable.
