What do you mean by "HOW AMERICAN"???

We have REAL tanks set up with REAL plants, and just an FYI..... Some FAKE planted tanks rival REAL planted tanks..... and as for your REAL planted tank... anyone can throw in WAL MART fish in a planted tank, and take pics.... Get the water clear before you take pics.... Just sayin....

And LOVE BEAGS.... I like your tanks... (AND YES I SAID TANKS)

@ItsMeDaveT By ''how Amarican'' i ment the fake plants. I see this only on amarican tanks. Offcourse you do have tanks with real plants over there. But this is not one of them. The wather in my tank is clear. But not as clear as yours cause mine got lots of real plants in it and it needs a biothoop with bacteria to grow. I'm sorry my tank is not as sterlile as yours. but in nature the water is never sterile. You miss the natural aspect of a tank. Just saying.

where did u get your sand for your tanks?

The pool filter sand came from a local mom and pop pool shop. It is pool filter sand, NOT play sand. Pool filter sand has a more even grain, and is VERY easy to prep for your tank (only a little rinsing is needed) LOVE the stuff. ;)

The ten gallon is empty again, and the 29 gallon has three convict cichlids now :)

I'll try to get new vids up, but I'm a bit busy with other projects going :)

do u think i could put ina a pearl gouramis in with a red tailed black shark,rainbow shark,pictus cat,2 cory cats,pleco,6 tiger barbs, and a golden gouramis? or do u recomend a different fish?

I'm not too sure about tropicals, since I manly keep cichlids.

If I had a 55 I'd load it with yellow labs and demasoni  :)

I view carpet as substrate and wallpaper as background LOL

I think a cool room would have black walls and a sand floor. No, I wouldn't make it as an interior decorator.

My plants are fake because I do not have a "green thumb"

I prefer SILK plants, they last longer and look much closer to real than plastic plants. BUT, I do have some plastic plants as well. The ones in front of the rock cave are a very soft, pliable plastic, it almost feels like silicon (it might be) and it is called "baby grass" it was meant to hide fry.

They, like most aquarium pets, are from tropical waters. The fish I'm getting have ancestors from both Central and South America.
