  • Exactly what is being done in Afghanistan, Irag, same story just on a bigger scale. And guess what, we don't work for ourselves and we own no land! the bank owns it. Prophet Muhammad pbuh said that 3 things are to shared amongst the people: The grazing land, the fuel source and the water. - It is not owned.... these are God's for sharing! Godless world system! That's why it's collapsing

  • Ok this has nothing to do with the show but at the end of part 1 @9:09 the bullets have been shot, the primers have dents in them..

  • i love how the lawyer says to Charles, who is saying its unfair: as it was to the Indians....resumes well the thing: we are sorry for them but this land was indeed stolen from Natives...

  • This does'nt make sense.... because in season 9, I clearly remember Laura at the end saying that Albert came back to Walnut Grove years later and replaced Doc. Baker. And I'm very dissapointed with the Last Farewell episodes because they blow up Walnut Grove and Albert dies. Now what kind of ending is that to the whole series? They should have left it on a happy note where everybody lives happily ever after...... -__-

  • I never liked Alzamo. He always seemed like such a wuss.

  • Albert wasn't real it was Freddie and wasn't adopted Caroline had him

  • Caroline most certainly does not sound orgasmic, although that did make me laugh for a moment. Her energy, spirit, determination, love for others, and simple beauty make her one of the best television mothers ever.

  • Didn't I hear something about Jonathan Gilbert vanishing? I also heard Sara Gilbert, the girl on Roseanne that was Darlene, and Melissa are also sisters. Can somebody verify all this, and was Jonathan Gilbert found?

  • @Darren50001,

He is the adopted son of actors Barbara Crane (née Barbara Cowan) and Paul Gilbert and the adopted brother of Melissa Gilbert, who played Laura Ingalls Wilder on the series. He is also the adopted half-brother of Sara Gilbert, who is Crane's daughter with Harold Abeles.

After leaving acting, Jonathan earned his BA from Hamilton College and an MBA in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.

    Is a stockbroker.

  • so I take it from the skipping bits that this isn't a full ep....*sad face*

  • HICKS STICK TOGETHER!!!!

  • Caroline always sounded orgasmic. Oh Charles!!!!!

  • laura and willie r actually brother and sister in real life.

  • wait so this isnt a full episode? :(

  • is this season 10

  • 7:49 "I can't believe it. I can't believe the law would be that unfair."

"Neither could the Indians (the original owners), who this land was stolen from."

  • Except for the hair, Rose looks like Grace. Laura meeting MA Is mature and beautiful

  • I love the house at 7:45. I want to live in a house like that, especially the surroundings too.

  • my favorite part had to e when laura said me too!

  • why does lassiter want them to leave??

  • does this skip parts of the ep.?

  • Which of these opens on a scene of them playing baseball?

  • He was like, I own this town, and you will work for me as wage earners, and those hicks were like HELL NAH!

  • He called her Beth...I promise.

  • in real lihe laura called almanzo manly and he called her bessie not beth ......no lie....

  • Hicks stick together!!!!!!

  • i love little house on the Prairie.

  • i am a huge fan of this show...

  • Rose is so cute!!!!

  • Mr. Obama ... I mean Mr. Lasiter: "Now you will be working for me!"

  • What is Charles' occupation? How are they city folk now?

  • I simply LOVE this show!

If I had a Delorean I would drive back and live in this time-period!

I would bring some money though! :) and I would merry a girl just like Laura!

  • ah the beginning of tax evasions.

  • there are no more wholesome women like that anymore....just money hungry cunts we see today

  • @brickman73

    Amen to that!

  • @brickman73 I agree!

  • @Heartborne7thSeeker its a damn shame....all i see today are fucken dumb bad..evil..opportunist. women ..will sell their soul for the highest dollar...

  • Always some Arsehole, will turn up and spoil peoples peace,

  • Bonanza the TV show referred to in great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible Life) at amazon!

  • Why doesn't Charles just kick the guy's ass and take the land back?

  • thanks yopu so much for putting this up! me and my mom love this show

  • Charles looks weird with such dark skin.

  • I think Melissa gilbert and Michael Landon totally worked it on this show. She is so pretty. I was so happy when i heard she had been president of the actor's guild.

  • In real life, this would have happened around 1902, which would have made Rose about 13. She was born in 1889.

  • Rose was actually born in 1886, and Charles Ingalls had poor health all throughout 1902 and died in 1902, so it couldn't have been then.

  • I looked at a timeline when these episodes were supposed to have taken place back then. So very little is accurate about this show. This was supposed to happen around 1902, according to the timeline.

    Yeah, 1886. Correct. My bad.

  • She born in 1886. Her brother born and died in 1889.

  • must. not. get. verklempt. when ma comes in and sees laura. aww man! i did anyway

  • You know, my favorite part of this episode is the good relationship between Laura and her Ma. I love them together, but I don't think their relationship is ever emphasized as much as Laura's relationship with her Pa. In the series and the books, it seemed as though Ma was closer to Mary and Pa was closer with Laura. It didn't mean that they didn't love each other...just that they shared more in common, I think.

This episode does a good job of reuniting Laura and her Ma in a beautiful way.

  • Richard Bull & Victor French look old in this ep, which unfortunately I can't watch as I have to go to work.

  • How did Charles and Caroline get money, thems some fancy duds they wearing! LOL

  • I know. That's SO not them!

  • It is so strange to see Charles and Caroline living in a fancy house.

  • Man, Michael Landon is brown here! He has spent too much time sunbathing.

  • How did Laura and Manly get such a huge house again?

  • A kind old left the house to Laura before she died and Laura turned it into a place for boarders and called it the "Wilder House"

  • Is that episode in the LHOP DVD boxset? If so, I will stop watching here.

  • Can anyone explain to me why they call each other Manly and Beth? I've never gotten that.

  • well,

Almanzo is called Many like a nickname.

Laura's full name is Laura Elizabeth

she liked elizabeh better at one time so she switched.

that is long too so they call her Beth for short.

    hope this helps.

  • Beth Was Manly's nickname for her. Incidently, it is a proven fact that my mother's family is related to the real Laura. The resemblance in later generations is uncanny!

  • I don't think that's quite how it happened...

The episode "Back to School" explains everything. Laura meets Almanzo after school one day in the school yard. Mrs. Wilder, Almanzo's sister and also the teacher of the Walnut Grove school, introduces them. Almanzo tells her that his friends call him "Manny." She mistakenly calls him "Manly." Later in the episode, he tells Laura that she can call him "Manly." It is then that he comes up with "Beth" for her nickname (Laura Elizabeth Ingalls).

  • It's like a 1-star western, with 1 dimensional villains and an outrageous plot, and right when the nightmare becomes unbearable, the director says, "aw shucks, this is an awful episode anyway. Let's make sure no one does it again!" and then blows up the entire place!

  • My favorite season will always be the Pilot and series 1. I thought I had lost interest after Michael Landon was gone. This preview has made me want to see the rest of the series. Thank you for posting this. But one thing I'm seeing from this is that "Ma's" whole character and voice seems to have changed from the Pilot movie. I look up to her so much. Just in the few short minutes I've been watching this it doesn't seem like "Ma" at all. I hope I'm wrong. I'll watch the rest now.

  • It's because they are all older now, this is like 9 years later from the first season. :) This makes me want to buy the other 8 seasons I already have season 1 on DVD. Laura grew up nicely and I always did like her husband Almozo, and her little daughter Rose was so cute! :)

  • I know! I noticed that Ma seemed very different.

  • How did Caroline and Charles get so rich??? I don't remember anymore. Why did they move from Walnut Grove, and to where? Where's Laura's adopted daughter Jenny? Thnx!

  • charles and caroline move back to the city, charles wooden tables become big success. jenny is in this episode, she is in parts of it. hallmark is showing little house again. maybe this will come on again.

  • what year did they make it to ? 1920 ? like how long after this episode did they live ?

  • if im not mistaken...Ma lived after 1920. Pa died around 1912, I think.

  • i see and the kids ? if you know

  • I used to know alot more! There is a big book of family information that mother has. I am not too good at memorizing things like that. Also, I was quite young when the work was begun on the family tree. Please message me privately if you like...

  • @Yashodam Jenny was actually Laura's niece, not her daughter. I think she and Almanzo took Jenny in after her father died, but I forgot what episode that was. Maybe this was before that happened so they don't have Jenny yet.

  • @CherryFrog321 sorry but they do have jenny but if you really watch it you mitt see her this is one of the last episodes so they have jenny and your right she is Lauras niece.(:

  • @CherryFrog321 No this is way after Jenny came. Jenny came about the same time as the Carters dum azz

  • @icecrandor geez, you're rude. There's no need to call me names. I'm not as familiar with the later seasons of Little House. And I just said "maybe" this was before that because the person said Jenny wasn't in this. I wasn't sure. But now I remember this is the last episode so obviously it was after they took Jenny in. Again, I don't know why you have to get so mad and call me names over a TV show.

  • @CherryFrog321 It was a pretty dum azz type of mistake to make though, you have to admit that, LOL!

  • Just ask me, the Little House expert. Actually, I know the show's research and the real Laura Ingalls story, and they never destroyed the town. It exists still today! Scarily. And the high school reunion episode was 'class of 1859' so reunion was in 1884.

  • do u have the full movie, if you do can you put it on youtube?

  • ahaha OH CHARLES... XD

  • I know,the house is'nt that small

  • That house doesn't look so small to me...

  • Michael Landon ages gracefully even during his illness he was gorgous ie)last Johnny Carson interview<3 I'am in my twentys and will make my kids watch and become fans of the show.

  • I couldn't agree with you more!!

  • Where is Harriet during this episode? I know parts are taken out here, but can anyone tell me where she is or what happened to her?

  • By this time Kathrine MacGregor had pretty much retired from acting. Harriet was written as being in an asylum (actually a convalescence home) for tuberculosis.

  • Thanks a lot!

  • How old do u think Charles,Caroline,Carrie,Grace,James, and Cassandara are in this episode? What social class would they be considered?

  • I think Grace is probably 5 or 6. and considering Cassandra was about 9 in the 8th season she is 10. James is 13 because of the episode in season 8's episode "he was only 12".I think Charles and Caroline are 45 and 43.

  • It was three years later since the Ingalls left Walnut Grove. That would make James 15. Charles was 52 and Caroline 51 since they celebrated their 25 high school reunion in 1881 9 years prior to this episode.

  • who can tell me when and how charles adopted james and cassandra ?

  • if you go to emotional2000 channel she has season 6-9 posted in their entirety. The episode where charles adopts james and cassandra is called The Lost Ones and it is a 2 parter.

  • i think the epp is called t"the lost ones" i think emotional2000 has it

  • this isnt the beginning of this episode. can you please post the very beginning

  • Corrections, Grace. Not gracey.

  • why almonzo call his wife beth ???

i missed that, who can tell me

  • her full name was laura elizabeth. when laura and almonza meet in "back to school" he introduces himself as "Manny" She mistakingly calls him "Manly". So he nicknames her Beth, from her middle name.

  • this episode was so sad, i`ve watched all little house and have box sets of the series.

very sad they blew up walnut grove

  • We have these same kind of "land developers" up here in Northern California. They are called Southern California interests.

  • Which children is Charles talking about?

  • Gracey, carrie, james and casandra. james and casandra were adopted. albert was already dead in this one.

  • Grace was never adopted. Caroline gave birth to her in an episode called "A Most Precious Gift"

  • I know she wasn't. Albert, Casandra and James were.

  • how he die

  • Albert? He had some type of cancer, I believe. In the episodes prior to that, he became addicted to morphine, which I am sure didn't help his condition. Even tho at the time he didn't know he was sick. It wasn't until near the end of the series that he learned he was sick. It was heart breaking. He was my favorite character. Most people also don't know that he and his best friend Andy are actually brothers ;)

  • @pursacat he needed a blood transfusion(sp) it wasnt cancerous

  • @pursacat I have watched every episode too... Question how did they get the nice house? That I don't remember.

  • @andersonfamily Some old lady died and left it to them.

  • @pursacat I believe he had some form on Leukemia. his nose bleeding points to it.... but could have been anything else too.....

  • @pursacat They are brthers but they are both adopted, Laura and willie are siblings in real life, but Melissa Gilbert is adopted as well :)

  • @pursacat It wasn't cancer it was a blood disorder which was uncurable no matter what he did. I will say that being a morphine addict probably wasn't very helpful. Oh and I knew they were brothers, there are alot of siblings on LHOtP.

  • @pursacat Albert had Lukemia :(

  • @pursacat i thought Albert came back to Walnut Grove and replaces Dr. Baker?

  • @AROwsley No he dies. It doesn't actually show him die in this episode but it clearly states he was dying. And there was only a couple more shows after this one, no Albert in any of them. But if you go by the true story books, there never was an Albert.

  • Why you give me thumbs down? I know every episode by heart. I used to watch them as a kid, vid recorded every episode too.

  • what season?

  • Why do they always like to make us cry? I love this.

  • Last time who saw each other?

  • omg when was the last time they saw eachother? lmao

  • Who is living with Charles and Caroline in Burr Oak? How much do u think Charles gets paid?

  • I'm watching as long as we're together right now! I LOVE Little House On The Prairie!

  • why is it a last farewell if they are just going on vacation?

  • No. The Last Farewell was a movie made after they finished with the series.

  • I`m surprised Mary wasn`t in this movie.

  • This is the last episode of Little House where they blow up Walnut grove and they all lose their farms so thats why it's called last farewell.I thought this was stupid to blow up Walnut Grove they could have just sold it.

  • where did you get the show from. thank you for loading it.

  • i watched this movie just a couple days ago and i made a video of it, its called The Last Farewell Little House on the Prarie Tribute by Strawder9820

  • So horrible. Laws back then did not respect people's feelings or their way of life. And they say it is legal. But that doesn't make it right.

  • where is the beginning of this episode?

  • Does this skip some parts?

  • kinda weird that Charles goes to the lawyer as representative of the town, he doesn't even live there anymore!

  • that house from Laura loooks on the same house from the movie practical magic only the set is different... and the time is different

  • Caroline's voice changed soo much, i guess people grow older and more lovely!

  • is the the very last episode?

  • yes actully, it's a tv movie.

  • well how come charles and them LIKE NEVER VISTED MARY AND ADAM?THEY ALWAYS VIST LARUA AND ALMONZO?

  • Because in a episode, a long time ago,

Mary and Adam moved to New York.

  • is this the movie?

  • yes it is the movie.

  • UGG! I hate that guy who wants their land! He's just so.... mean looking!

  • I aggree 100% with you

  • What a fantastic episode- Thank you so much for posting.

Too bad it had to get ruined by that %*@$ Carter kid popping up all the time......

  • The people of Walnut Grove learn that somebody else owns the town and this person wants

everybody to leave Walnut Grove. Everybody in the town decides that the person can have the land, but he can't have the town. The townspeople blow everything up to prevent anybody else from using their creation.

  • is this the last episode?

  • anyone have photos of Laura's house? Its a cool set. I was sad to see it blown up.

  • damn shame
