  • yall need some pussy? some weed?

  • Hmmm....I guess it was a VCR tape. I have it on disk now. I know a guy who knows the guy who made the original film clip.

  • I saw this about 20 years ago (in the early 1990s). A friend had it on disk and we used to watch it for kicks and laugh a whole lot. We thought it would make a great board game (like Monopoly)...but we never got it together to construct it.

  • @KarenCzar1 On disk??? What kind of disk? The DVD standard wasn't introduced to the US until 1997, and it took a good while before home DVD recorders were affordable.

  • @brittcrowell --

Videodisk had been around since the 80's at least.

  • @fionnbharro Was there ever a recordable Videodisk standard? I'd bet a $1 there wasn't. So whats your point?

  • Young man, long before there were these new shiny things called dvd's there were these other shiny things called CD's and before that there were Floopy and Hard Disks of various sizes. So I am sure when he says disk he is reffering to a Floppy Disk , Hard Disk or maybe even Zip Disk.

  • 'you must be from around here'

'not really, I been here about a week'

  • LOL Wow...Larry used the word "Bam" waaay before Emeril Legasi did. Maybe he should sue for "royalties" HAHAHAHAHAHA FUNNY VIDEO

  • LOL Wow...Larry used the word "Bam" waaay before Emeril Legasi did. Maybe he should sue for "roaylties" HAHAHAHAHAHA FUNNY VIDEO

  • I live in longview and the directions were crazy! Ive got a dick made of gold and it will cum 24 hrs a day! Lmao

  • I watch this often. One of my favorite youtube videos. I wonder of Larry is still around. I would sure like to find out.

  • I grew up in Longview and his directions were amazing. I also used to go to a dope house to buy bud on Brown street (larry's street).

  • Alright, let's recap: "It's a trick intersection.." "You going ova the bridge, you goin' ova the bridge, you goin' ova the bridge.." "When is turns greem...BAM, you come to another light..." "You get all you can eat for $4 dolla's.." "I been hear a week.." "Send me a letter or sum'.." "THREE--O--TWO...BROWN STREET.." "I got a dick made of Gold.." "I got a dick that goes 'round the clock.." Classic and favorited ***jcmcneilband***
  • Lord, II live in the DFW area and have been to Longview a few times. This funny as all get out. Great job !

the street then tells you keep going to the

    next light.......BAM!

  • I Love the part, Thats the Marathon Refinery...The big domes, They build bombs there" lol.

Thats got to be one of my favorite one liners from the video!

  • what type of man asks another man if he has a big dick!

  • He looks like the black Heath Ledger ;o))))))))))

  • Hell fuckin yeah

  • this video was filmed by me back in 2012,

  • Anybody that is from the view and doesn't dig this is straight up shit the bed retarded

  • and that's why i love living in longview, i say hes a good candidate to represent us east Texans!

  • Great to see this again! We ended up with a VHS copy of this at the post house in Florida where I used to work, (somewhere around 1995) but it was probably 8 or 10 generations worse than this. Picture was horrible, but you could still hear the audio well enough to laugh your ass off. Thanks for my first viewing in decent video resolution!! Gotta go, staying over tonite at LaQuinta Inn, LaQuinta Inn, LaQuinta Inn...

  • Take me to the movies

  • Ill keep it in mind LOL

  • lol longview...the people that live in this city...it is quite entertaining

  • @Africkinbaboon SHUT UP TIM BAMMM!

  • "Hell Fuckin' Yeah!"

  • I wonder if his directions worked?

  • "...and inside that Torino is my cousin, Jackie."

  • I saw this back in 93. A friend had it and we laughed are ass off. Right when I saw this pop up I knew what it was!

It was recorded in front the old Whataburger on the Spur they have since remodeled it

  • hell farcking yeah, i am the dickeman

  • and I type this message...... BAM!

  • "Ya goin' over a bridge...goin' over a bridge...goin' over a bridge..."

I had this clip on VHS for years. It's one of those things that circulated through hip people in the know. Notice how the cameraman/driver can barely keep from laughing. Also notice how far Larry reaches into the truck cab.

  • wish i knew some "hip" people jay

  • Cheyenne, now that you've watched Larry Williams giving directions, you are one of the most immaculately hip people on the PLANET!!!

  • im in with the in crowd now

  • As I recently relocated to Longview, I'm digging the hell out of this. Funny stuff. I hope the guy is still alive and kicking - I'd buy him lunch. ;o)

  • How has this not had more views? We must spread the word of The Dickeman! BAM!

  • gold.

  • This isn't the early rocker larry williams. This is rock head Larry Williams, BAM!

  • Larry williams is Terrence Howard on drugs

  • Mr Jost.....pure gold!!! I am loving this all over again. I saw this video in 1994 for those who are wondering how old it is.

  • YES! I had this on VHS as well. A "party" tape, it was called, cuz you'd show drunk people the tape at a party and they'd all die laughin'!

  • keep straight, we can sing together but we cant talk together

  • Comment removed

  • THIS IS FUNNY, BECAUSE WHEN I'M IN THE SOUTH THIS IS THE WAY YOU GET DIRECTION (lol)

  • is this the one who is the singer in the 50's

  • this dude ROCKS !!! Definately made for a movie personality.

  • what year was this video taken?

  • This has been around for at least 6 years

  • Comment removed

  • 302 brown st. lol

  • Go Google Earth 302 Brown St in Longview, TX .. It's hilarious!

  • Who needs GPS when you've got Dickman?

  • BAM!!!!

  • you must be from here. well not really, I just came here about a week ago. lol

  • somebody needs to show this to Terrence Howard, and have him do a web skit remake of this. He could pull it off.

  • And yes, some of the places he lists aren't there now, but most are (names have changed over the years). And he might be off on the number of lights, but his directions are pretty much correct! If you live or work in Longview, you can actually follow his directions!

  • I've worked in Longview for a long time, and this gets played around the office quite frequently, or whenever we need a good laugh. We figure its AT LEAST 15 years old, because the Wataburger you begin to see in the background at around 4:20 burned down about 15years ago and a new one built in exactly the same spot. And the address he gives them is actually a real address near where he's at!

  • "I gotta big dick....BAM!!"

  • The Simple Minds song places this no earlier than '85, re: Breakfast Club. I first saw this in '93 or so.

  • You take the light that BENDS!

  • BAM! Another light...

  • larry is "flyin high"

  • i go to longview all the time and believe it or not all his directions were pretty acurate! lmao!

  • Going over a bridge

    going over a bridge...

    going over bridge...

    goin all on the bridge...

  • i am the god damn dickeman D-i-c-k-e-m-a-n Dickeman LOL he cant spell for fuck

  • it was really funny till they asked him about his dick. they turned into assholes taking advantage of someone. it was like creepy high school abuse.

  • Well I must say, that's the first really negative comment I've seen on the video. I see your point but disagree.

    He was the one that:

    1. Asked for money, which they obliged

    2. Asked if they needed any weed or pussy.

    3. Wanted to be in "Deep Throat"

I would say that he directed the conversation that way himself.

  • point(s) taken, still seemed mean. dude didn't know any better and the camera guys did. it was funny till about 4:50. also, thanks for coming up with a real argument instead of just hurling insults at me, which is how most people post on youtube. on a different subject don't ever insult eric johnsons guitar playing. his fans can't take it.

  • thats cause they're all as crazy as he is, how ever good at guitar he may be.

  • Rest in Peace Larry's brother.

  • yeah i think automobile cant compete with c&d and r&t so theyre diversifying to good measure into esoterica and auto-related comedy- they need at least that niche to stay alive in the shrinking magazine market.

thats funny as hell - you can see people like that everywhere around here and boy is lower class americas ideals skewed to traditional morality- first name last name address all on tape after a drug offer to strangers is pretty ignorant. hes pretty cool tho to jus not giv a fu**

  • Read about this in Automobile magazine...

Can't understand why they put it in. Pretty funny though.

  • lol, same here - just saw the reference in there today. The point was about what kind of directions people'll give you, I think.

    And yes XD hilarious.

  • lmao...awesome

  • "Just like a squirrel trying to crack a nut."

  • BAM! You come to another light. Man, I lost track after the third light or something, lol.

  • im from longview 2 and i would say around 1987

i remember it burning down not being tore down

i lived behind k mart about the same time that was shot.

  • Hell Fuckin Yea!!!!! lmao

  • John Lennon's hero!

  • We can sing together but we can't talk together...lol

  • Youre on a bridge. Youre on a bridge. Youre on a bridge. Youre on a bridge.

  • Harked up a loogie!A refinery that builds bombs?Timeline continued;After the new Liberry&POlice station.Was that around 82-83?This was before the police station road?and Hwy259?was given a traffic signal.Across from ymca was payless,now is Dollar Sto'?I ain't know about biggest Texaco.Was a small store,with repair bay.The Hot BiscuitResaurant!.Excellent buffet.Breakfast was the Bomb!Oops,I mean the BAM!Worst thing is,Larry wouldv'e been a star,at least today.They really missed out.We all did.

  • I am trying to put the timeline together. Somebody knows. Before the new Whataburger. After the 'new' Payless shoes(where was this bldg? around middle high street?),relocated to the mall lot years ago. Reference to the LeTourneau bombs.I've heard that before, but thought it was WWII.Some of the old bldgs there are old barracks.(@Letourneau).After LaQuinta which is renamed now? After KJC Longview campus(the old Sears bldg for you older peeps like me).My guess circa 1980-81.What car are they driving?

  • They're at the Spur and Marshall. That Whataburger burned down, and was rebuilt. Hes telling them to go down the Spur, make a left on South St (where the light BENDS), a right on High in front of the college, go south and cross the overpass(bridge). The YMCA he's talking about is now Paula Martin Jones Rec Center, the Brookshiers is now Super 1 Foods (High & Birdsong St), pass LeTorneau, and he's refering to the old La Quinta Inn and the Hot Biscuit resturant (both now gone).

  • @dfdemt lol, you must live in longview. he's right there by Rikki Baileys Tattoo Shop Garage Art Studios right there on Marshall across from the cemetary

  • Thats some old shit! They tore that Whataburger down and replaced it with a new one in the mid 80's!

  • ..."keep straight"

  • I am from Longview and I must say...well I don't know what to say...

  • This is a classic!!! Larry is a fool

  • oh yeah, cause it will only take him a week to learn his way around.

  • He should work for Google maps....

  • from an aspiring linguistic anthropologist's perspective, this video is quite interesting

  • "What you talkin' about Willis?"

  • Hell Fuckin Yea!!!!! lmao.

  • I've also had a copy of this since the early 90's. There are too many great lines but, "Hell F--king yeah!" was a sound on my computer and I used it as a sound on my caller ID.

Glad to see it's on the net and getting the audience it deserves!

    "Take me to the movies!"

  • simple minds - don't you (forget about me)

  • what song is playing in the beginning of this?

  • One of my English teachers has the original video tape of this.

  • i am larry wiliams

  • hey, take me to the movies

  • Cool that you tried though and kept us up to date.

  • False alarm on meeting Larry. He says he's never been to Longview, TX. After spending a bit of time with him I became conviced it isn't him.

  • it isn't longview, tx....it is kilgore, tx.....he mentions kilgore junior college.....i use to live in east texas and have been to kilgore several times

  • Actually, it is Longview. they are standing in front of the Whataburger on Hwy 80 & 31. He is talking about Kilgore College - Longview Campus, which is right around the corner.

  • Oh. Thanks for the clarification.:-)

  • well... are the directions any good? or atleast in the early 90's?

  • Everything you need to know about this video is at rookiecardthemovie dot com slash larry dot html (youtube won't let you leave a url) Just got some big news about LW's whereabouts today. Can't wait to get in contact!

  • i've had this on VHS for years and today I'm almost positive I met him! He's working on our house. Said his name is Larry Williams and he has white hair now. I had to go look at the video again before I asked him. He probably heard of this video by now if he's been working on people's houses. SOMEBODY would have made the connection and showed it to him! Now to ask him next time I see him....

  • YEAH! Watched this in the 1980's when it was first filmed by friends of a friend, and we made many copies on videotape, that have since died. Happy to see it preserved. "I'm like a squirrel trying to crack a nut!" And I love the film-maker snorking in the background.

    Hooray Larry.

  • Like most of you, I saw this years ago on VHS. Glad to see it again. 1st Hands on a Hardbody, now Larry Williams. I am soo proud.

  • ahahaha that was the funniest thing on youtube! BAM!

  • We used to show this video at parties in college in '96/'97 until it was stolen. Glad to see it show up again - gotta love good ol' Larry. BAM!

  • Thats some old shit! They tore that Whataburger down and replaced it with a new one in the mid 80's!

  • hes giving directions on 3 differents streets. Cotton st, High Street, Estes Parkway. but i only been around about a week. BAM!

  • Thank you for posting that! I saw it on a VHS tape several years ago and glad to see it resurface. That guy was awesome!
