Impossible. MazinKAISER first appeared in 1999 in Super Robot Wars F Final. You may be thinking of MazinGER Z, Great Mazinger, or Grendizer, all of which are from the 70's.

Hmm... Mazinkaiser had more laughs I suppose, plus he kicks far more ass in battle... but there were the good episodes with the death of Baron Ashura, Aphrodite A and Dr Mori Mori... and Z was the first piloted super and still powerful in his own right... I'd say the anime are about equal. Though less Monster of the Week is good.

Kaiser doesn't get scratches because it's almost invincible, the other robots like Mazinger Z, Great, Venus, Aphrodyne or Million Alpha get damaged a lot like in the old days. Besides Kaiser's new alloy allow it to take more hits without getting damaged

i love this song and i love this anime too but, the only thing i blame about MazinkaiseR is than the Kaiser never have any scratch.If you see this OVA , the Kaiser swin in magma and nothing happen to him or for koji. I mean... the Shin Getter Robot is the last getter and in the serie , he's alway get scratch , broken arm and more. Well..except for this point , this OVA is so great.

Kaiser only wins a fight with Genesic by virtue of being indestructable (read: cheap). Genesic is realistic in that it actually takes damage. However, since if Guy just keeps spamming Protect Shade (or better yet, just stays above the Kaiser Plider's flight ceiling and uses his more powerful ranged attacks such as the Crusher), Kaiser can't do jack to him either, it's fairly clear that there's no way Mazinkaiser can come out on top if Guy uses his head even a little.

In the Getter manga, Shin Getter 1 has the power to destroy and remake the universe. It's implied in the manga that Shin Getter Robo evolves into Getter Emperor. Whenever Emperor changes into its other 2 forms, planets are destroyed in the resulting shockwave of its transformations.

Anyway, this was a reply to EVA01X's comment about Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser not being in the league of Genesic GaoGaiGar and Ideon.

Manga version Mazinkaiser's Fire Blaster is powerful enough to burn through the Earth's core.

Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter are both nearly godlike when they reach God mode and 100% Getter energy respectively. These two are always toned down power-wise in anime and video games.

This isn't really a movie it's a 7 episode OVA serie. It was released by ADV back in 2003 but unortunately it's already out of print.
