JYP seems like one of them Protoss' that take 3 bases fast every game, turtle with cannons then hit 200/200, make two 200/200 armies and hope one of them destroy their opponent then they give up because they dont know how to macro past 3 bases. How do people like him or goody who just uses build orders to try and win the game get into pro gaming....

@chesssjakk Also, I think announcers tend to cherry pick more macro games a lot of the time simply because watching "all ins" or "cheese" tends to make for what a lot of people feel to be a less interesting game

Maps have become more macro focused on a whole (I realize there are exceptions) and that combined with the fact that RTS games generally progress in a macro direction as the game progresses because people simply figure out how to hold off early pressure better and better and then win with macro

The one thing I took from this series is that JYP really doesn't like Warp Prisms. Second game where he could have done a lot of damage had he used one when he saw the 2nd expansion.

To everyone complaining about balance:

JYP is TERRIBLE compared to other professional players, while Puma is undeniably one of the best. Top Toss players (i.e. HuK) will exploit their army's mobility and be moving all over the map, constantly threatening their opponent (i.e. HuK). Because of this, they force their opponents into direct engagements and inadvertently reduce the amount of harass they take.

JYP seems like he'd fair better as a Goody-esque turtle Terran.

@innerbeast415 JYP has made GSL Code A and narrowly missed Code S status a couple of times. Puma was never able to qualify for Code A. JYP is an extremely good player, and is terrible by zero comparisons.
