for your axels do a very strong push when your in T position. then jump in the air and rotate then land with your leg up; dont worry about the 2 little rotation that you did. :]
wow... a really long time since the last video! You really look a lot slimmer! What's your secret? lol. Anyway, your axels look a lot better that the last vid, they are really really close!
thanks! No secret, just lots of skating;) I just skate 4-5 days a week (3 days for 50 minutes, 2 days for about 1 1/2 or 2 hours). And I try not to overeat. That's about it!
wow great! and what a nice rink with smooth surface...i skate only 3 hours a week at most...i'm jealous...i can go to the rink only twice a week and now i cant even do that because of my sinusitis :(
on your axels, your not really getting any momentum to make the rotation in the air. Make sure you bend deep in the knee, and then once you feel the catch in the ice bring your free leg through and snap into backspin position. Good attempts though!
I know, I had the same problem, mostly with double sal. I kept going onto the wrong leg, but when i allowed myself to jump fall, it got somuch easier, and I found myself landing them!!! :D
Hey! I'm a skating coach down here in Jersey..... and if you'd like I can send you a video reply with some tips and pointers.

oh yes, and your arms aren't doing anything right now, they're just kind of there. That caused me lots of trouble, make sure you use them :)

thanks for your tips! I noticed I wasn't getting much knee bend in the take-off, but didn't think about arms. :)
