Sometime in the 1950 and or 60 we visited the Atlanta auditorium for the all night gospel singing shows. I seem to remember the Statesman Q had a bass singer named London Paris. The only mention I have ever seen or heard of London was a notation of his passing on one of the Gaither Video tapes. Does anyone have additional information...
London was never a member of the Statesmen. I recently looked up the quartet on Wikipedia and it lists all the members of the group.
Jim Big Chief Wetherington was the original bass singer.
The same time London Parris was part of the Rebel quartet, than the Blackwood Brothers. Hope this helps

This is such a clear video and the sound is pretty good. Thank you for the video. I believe this is the best group of the Statesmen.
