NWA™ Wrestling Showcase returns to television in 2009

Scrap Iron is one of the best wrestlers in the world. I watch showcase on the website because i don't have Dish, it's a great show! WWE is 80% talk i never watch it, and TNA was great but now their about 50% talk (still watch). NWA is like 10% talk and 90% wrestling! I love the smaller ring and the old school feel, and i love not watching 15 minute promo's! I wish they wanted to be part of the national scene again, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship is the most Important belt in wrestling.

tna is great but the storylines are horrible.. wwe well they just repeat the same stuff over and over, i want to see something similar to how tna used to be, before it got on spike lol and you had to purchase the ppv like every other week. i think they were world wrestling allstars or something like that, anyways, tna has the young talent they just need to get rid of the old people. it didnt work for wcw and its not helping them, sting and jeff jarret can stay though

what the hell it isnt going to be on directv?that's not right.over wwe rehashed,stupid segments with nothing to do with wrestling crap.tna offers a little different agenda but basicly the same other then the girls.they have a good roster of woman wrestlers.awesome kong rocks,she carrys herself well for a big girl and she has some moves that are just that awesome.the tna girls have a more hardcore style about them as in the wwe they are more worried about being pretty.they blow moves way to much.

It's not on DirecTV because ColoursTV is Dish Network only. It'll probably stay that way seeing as CTV is a rather obscure channel. The anime/wrestling lineup really helped their ratings, I think; if you look at their myspace page, almost all the questions and comments are about one or the other. Too bad they cut their anime block in half and didn't show new NWA shows on a regular basis. Their inconsistency really cost them , IMO. Let's hope things can turn around for them. 2 hour NWA anyone?

I went to the 12/20 tapeings and it was fun Blue Demon though sucks his match's were beyond bad when Joey Ryan showed up to chanlange Blue Demon for the gold he got a very big pop and Cade and Murdoch were crazy over

I just came back from Las Vegas from visiting my dad and cousin and we all went with our wives and kids to a NWA show. For a small promotion, there was at least 5,500 to 6,000 people in the arena. (Blue Demon vs Adam Pearce who really almost caused a riot with his comments about Las Vegas being "wetback station" and "going into the crowd to check everyone's papers") If the NWA can create a identity and showcase styles such as Lucha and guys like Bryan Danielson who knows how big they can become.

its not a name change, they are doing both shows. this will air on colurs tv and hollywood is being used as a pilot to try to get it on syndication across the country and on to a cable network.

holywood would be the bigger show while showcase will showcase other talent from across the various nwa promotions.

The Championship Wrestling and Wrestling Showcase programs are separate. Wrestling Showcase will be back on Colours, the NWA is still trying to get Championship Wrestling on other cable outlets.
