The intuous range is more geared towards professionals. They come in bigger sizes and have more preassure levels tha the Bamboo's. They're all great though. It's amazing though how much nicer it feels using the Intuous over the Bamboo, even though the Bamboo's are also kick ass. The Cintiq are even better, you draw onto the screen that is the tablet with those, pure awesomeness! lol Very expensive mind.
what would be absolutely incredible is to have some way to change your brush size FROM the pen via say a small touch sensitive slider where a person's thumb rests normally while holding a pen
Like a screen sort of on the tablet? you can get one, but they are extremely expensive. On the intuos3, though, you can't see the screen, or whatever you're drawing, on the tablet surface.
I'm a little confused as to what program it runs with (or needs). I've seen people saying 'open canvas' but is there a particular program that works best? I have photoshop, but is that something that is useful with this tablet?
i meen can you draw as good with a pencil on paper as with a wacom on your pc?
becaus i don't wonna spend a lot of money when it doesn't work verry well. so my question is, is it as good as a normal pencil on paper or do you need some training for it do draw as well?
Nice video, man. The Intuos3 tablet is a nice piece of equipment. Also, as many other users have already said, you really should take off that wristband. It'll scratch the hell out of the tablet.
the lag depends mostly what kind of pc you have, new apple pc etc etc are fast, as far as i've heard. Intuos just have better pressure sensitivy etc etc.
I got one of those after I recovered from the carpal tunnel syndrome (too much mousing). Now I replaced my mouse with it and I use it as my primary device for everything except gaming (as games go crazy when they detect the stencil as a pointing device)
If not now... it will later...metal and plactic (and I know what kind the Intuos is made of since I own one too) simply don't go well together, especially with that buckle. But hey, it's your tablet.
Anyway, good ownage of roxgod666 ... stupid, unprepared teenage punk...serves him well hehe
yeah, seriously though, you should prolly take that off while you use it. i had an older model that wasnt even glossy yet, and i scratched it some with a wristband. now that i saw how your tablet works, i feel like its time to get one as well.
@AppleSoldier Thanks for uploading the review, how is the 6x11 for digital painting?
I'm thinking of getting an either a 6x8 or a 9x12 to use for digital painting. Some say that 9x12 is too big while others say for serious digital art a 6x8 surface area would be restrictive. What are you thoughts on this?
Really great demonstration, thanks very much. I am looking at the various types of graphics tablets to buy, and yours looked very promising, though the price was way above my budget. I am looking at the Wacom Bamboo model - apart from the smaller size, is there any major differences worth looking out for? Many thanks.
I use one of these at work, it works great! I hate doing work in photoshop with a mouse. sometimes I even forget to pick up the mouse when doing everything else.
wow, that must be so cool... you know, that tablet would be great with Toon Boom Studio or Toon Boom Storyboard... you should try the demo out and maybe make a video.... anyway keep up the good work with your videos (although i havent seen any Mac vs PC videos lately...)
The tablet ? Great
Your drawings? Horrible

shall i buy a a4 or a5?
DWJvideoz 2 years ago
umm actually it's to hard to make a choice
for me the best one is
wacom intuos3 A5 wide special edition
but it's a little bit expansiv, it's perfect for wide lcd screens and designed for outside working with a laptop
but i'm buying an intuos3 A4 special edition it's huge a little it more hard to draw with it and not so portable too bad for me ^^
c ya dude
