Cynthia McKinney talks about her plans for the Dept of Peace

I like the department of Peace idea. I think it was originally conceived by The Natural Law Party if I'm not mistaken and I know Dennis read John Hagelin's book. Anyway, I also like the fact that Cynthia wants to implement WITHIN the already existing framework rather than add another bureaucracy.

We would still need a Department of State and a War Room, but yea just shows how crooked it is in the White House that we don't also have any structure devoted to the dissolution of war in general. It'd be high time there's a department of peace. We can't even imagine yet how many social and foreign policy problems would be alleviated if there was a department of peace erected!!
