My favorite part in the attract mode of this game is where the guy, Dave, who is the character who rides the Dyna Wide Glide, messes with his chin, and he's like "Hmm... I wonder where my motorcycle keys are.". It provides a nice, epic effect to it.
The character on the bike on this demo looks somewhat like Paul Phoenix from the Tekken games. Funny thing is, in the Tekken games, Paul will often be seen on a Harley motorcycle, and the character riding on the FLSTF Fatboy on this demo has the same hair style as Paul does in the Tekken games. So what I'm thinking is is that Sega stealing from Namco in someway.
Here are some phrases of the announcer in this game that I know of: "Welcome riders!" "Please select your favorite Harley Davidson." "Time is up!" "Try again!" "Don't worry!" "Please enter your name." "Game over!" "Thank you!" "Police motorcycle" "Fatboy" "Panhead" "Dyna Wide Glide" "Sportster 1200 Sport" "Automatic transmission" "Manual transmission"
I just played this a few days ago on a MAME emulator. Well, like all of the Model 3 games on MAME, it doesn't work. However, when I loaded the game, it said "DAUGHTER BOARD NOT DETECTED" and when I started the game, I couldn't find the buttons that select the bike so I selected Fatboy and AT Transmission, and when the gameplay began, the game crashed. Interesting story, huh?.
@paulsbuck5 well which version of MAME did you use? because i remember this happening to me too. Lately the versions of MAME i tried this with just crash the game when enough coins were credited.
Well, I recently used MAMEUI32 V136 for this, it didn't work at ALL, this time. I tried loading it, but it said "NO DAUGHTER BOARD DETECTED" and the PC froze so I unplugged it, and escaped from the problem. Never trust a MAME emulator, it doesn't have "Blast Processing". BTW, are there any version of MAME with this game working?
Hey, can you record the music from this game by recording the sound test screen in the test menu? Try to record all of the bgms even if they're small like the Time's Up and Map screen music. Can you do that soon please?
well there's a sound emulator for PC that lets you do that! It can emulate sounds and music for many arcade games, including THIS ONE! I have it on my pc! Google search "M1 emulator" and click the "CAESAR - M1" link (should be the first one). On that site you can download the M1 sound emu and sound roms (these sound roms should be put in the "waves" folder). For MAME roms, Google search "Emuasylum" and download this rom to the "roms" folder
Hey, gutchman84, I sent you a message about this but you didn't respond. (I am the same guy, PlaystationPHIL, but I'm on my original account) How do I use the M1 emulator, because I'm trying to emulate music from THIS game, but how do I do it?
I've always wondered why this game was never released on the Dreamcast? it would have fit the system perfectly.
