I love how aggressive you can be in this game , but it is interesthing how easy fall the millitary becouse of these aliens , I mean they have got less number than the humans and still powns us , of course after they kill some of the crew they can be overwhelming power . Still i think it is very interesting how they made the game . Surely there would be a way to make the game scary and make a little action with millitary by making the aliens a little challange .

some, most, of the music for this and DS2 is inspired from aliens (also the atmosphere, being alone, and the constant outnumbering forces), the necromorphs are inspired from John Carpenter's The Thing, and the ship layout is of Gothic formations.

Also the outside areas withouth oxygen reminded me of those parts in doom3 where you needed to run like hell in the surface of mars before you choked to death.

And the dementia reminds me of silent hill...Lol this game is just a pure mixture of the most awesome horror movies and games.
