I know what you mean. there's only so many things Windows Movie Maker is capable of handling lol but I kind of like the slow pace. effects sometimes make the video seem more hectic.
I don't think it should matter how many effects you put in, as long as everything fits in together it's ok. After i read the description, I instently loved this video. Really. I thought everything fit in real nice ^-^ Kind of a sad video, but good.
