Don't be so sure. The highest recorded whp for a stock engine MS6 is 449awhp, the US record holder is 12.2 w/ 397awhp stock engine. Are 11s possible stock engine? I think so. DJ is redoing his stock engine setup for more HP and is hoping for low 11s stock engine. Fastest MS6 built runs 11.4's!

easy to trap in 4th gear, raise the rev limiter there so the car goes faster in each gear lol... i own a 2010 speed3 and my tuner did one with a tbe,fmic, intake, tune, slicks and the car went 12.53@110... that same car now has a gt3076 and are waiting for track results, gotta have the right tuner and thats everything

if u dont wanna believe me, all of you mazdaspeed3 owners, try going to redline in 4th gear and let me know if you even come close to 118 mph. Thats his claimed trap speed, yet he didnt go to 5th gear.... yeah, let me know how that goes trying to even reach 112 mph in 4th gear.

During these runs I was running a taller tire than the OE. This effectively changes the gear ratios and allowed running through the traps in 4th.

@allstockspeed3 Has a MS3 even broken into the 11's yet? I don't think they can on the stock motor. The calibers are knocking on 10's and some neons in low 9's and one in the 7's.

Very hard... No tuner has the 2.3 MZR DISI Ecu fully cracked yet... Most "tunes" just remove the 1st-3rd gear torque restriction... When they fully crack the ECU, this car will show it's true potential to the world I guess. And according to what I've read at OZMPS.com that isn't very far away? I hope 2011 will be the year.

@SVPrelude Hi-Boost has a MS3 that has hit high 11's on the stock engine, and there are no neon SRT-4's in the 9's or lower on a stock block.
