I would love if they would come out with a training dvd for all stone padlock training like what they do in the shaolin temples. For every exercise that they know be put on dvd's. I would for sure be ready to buy!
From a Shuai Jiao DVD I have. I'm working on making a decent mold to be able to create some from concrete. I found some granite ones, but they are way too expensive.
I use kettlebells in their place all the time, and they work fine. The Ishi Sashi just have a different feel. Stone has a better grip than steel, IMO.
@gojumaster It would be wonderful if you could post of video on how to create stone padlocks from concrete! Because I was thinking of creating some myself also from 10's all the way up to 80's! Just not for sure how to create them!!
@fuzzie567 I know how to make atlas stones though which I learned from you tube.com and also learned that the shaolin use atlas stones in their training!! You can buy a 2 poster set from atomic athletic.com!
@fuzzie567 On the 2 poster set from atomic athletic.com it shows shaolin training drills with atlas stones for the smaller one from 10 pounds to 100 pounds!
I have a small set of 5lb ones that I use for punching-style exercises. I just uploaded a video of one of the exercises. I need to pick up a pair of 10lbs. I ordered them from Everlast, but they were backordered for over a year.

@fuzzie567 Go to "Atomic Athletic". They sell a DVD. If you get it, come back and tell us how it is.

Im curious how well kettlebells would work..iron instead of stone, but the construction and shape/size is similar
