  • Nice ping.

  • Also the reason the iPhone 4 gets faster upload speeds is partially due to that it has HSUPA support while the 3GS doesn't as well as the antenna being better on the 4, giving faster speeds in general

  • Wow, you're in a really good AT&T area! You're lucky, I'm in a bad area for all carriers. AT&T covers the best here where I get between 1-4 bars at my house. T-Mobile doesn't even cover me with 3G and the other two carriers get 0-3 bars. But anyways, you're lucky to have a full coverage area at your house and not only when you go into town

  • My iPhone 4 got 80 ping on 3G I didn't think that was possible

  • OH, I KNOW WHATS GOING ON NOW! REMEMBER HSDPA+? WELL IT GIVES 3G A SPEED BOOST TOO, SO NOW YOU KNOW!

  • Wow

  • I get 9mbs download and about 2.0mbs upload on my G2 on T-mobiles HSPA+ (4g) network. My roommate gets about 3.6mbs download and 1.2mbs upload on his iPhone 4. We both get full signal from both carriers.

  • dam that tower must be right outside ur window! you probly got cancer from all those radio waves but atleast you got great DL speeds!

  • this is amazing, my sucky inspire maybe gets to 3 - 31/2 !!! plus I am going through 1 gig of data every 5 days ...unreal switching it out for the Iphone 4 tomorrow!!!

  • hate to agree but the my moms iphone pulls 4.5 down and 1.3 up almost on average unlike my inspire

  • This is real guys. I have an iPhone 4 in Saint Cloud, MN and was able to accomplish the same speeds on 3g. No joke.

  • haha...yet another LIAR on WiFi...AT&T resticts its MAX upload rates to a 1mb cap on 3G...nice try

  • @jason14sierra the iphone 4 is the only phone on at&t that has hsupa enabled....nice try. hahaha

  • Wait maybe cuz I'm on wifi. Lol

  • Mine shows 10.5mb dl and 4mb upload speeds. Just downloaded the app. I'm in the San Francisco California area. Where r u located?

  • Dude what a fucking fast line u posses?

  • Yep it's light years faster than my 3G. Here in Canada on Rogers I get 6 Mbps in good areas and 4-5 in most spots

  • thats faster than sprints 4G

  • Cool. On my 3GS I use to get 1500-2000 Kbps download and 30-100 Kbps upload. On the iPhone 4 I get 2000-4000 Kbps download and 1500-2500 Kbps upload. Real big improvement on the upload.

  • just think of all the radiation going through our skulls, cool

  • The test was taken in my home where I have very good reception (5 bars). It's not always at 5 mbs, but it is in areas where I get good reception. In areas with less reception, I can get anywhere from 1-3 mbps. The upload speed, however, stays pretty much steady at 1.6 mbps which is a LOT faster than my 3GS. I also live in a low congestion 3G area, so I have it pretty good on AT&T. I know there are some trouble spots in the bigger metro areas like New York and CA.

  • I have a 3g and am getting the 4 in a few weeks, that seems to fast for 3g, I think you bugged the screen or something that's wifi speeds. If it is 3g network and your getting 5mb dl's your in a great part of reception and it must be like 2am.

  • @virel360 I have been getting the same results.

  • @virel360 it says 6:23 on the phone

but yeah it's great speed isn't it?
