I've seen these guys in 1995 in Italy, probably the only time they played here in the last 14 years: a venue in the countryside, in the middle of NOTHING and we were no more than 100 people attending that gig. But, man, did they ROCK! Even if I don't agree with their political views, I've always loved the Levs and always will.
Classic Levellers track, the way it builds up at the start is enough to make any anglo saxon go berserk ! well, it does me anyway. who needs the press when your this shit hot anyway ,let them dribble over the likes of coldplay etc. the ones in pursuit of fame and bucks.
Just seen them at Peterborough Cresset. One of the best live bands I've ever seen and heard. Shame the music press don't give them the credit they deserve as they shite all over most bands out there. Not that the Levellers probably give a fuck. Cant wait to go see them again soon.....simply brilliant.
