  • thecolinchapman is a son of a bitch who hates senna. this asshole is problably a michael schumacher fan

  • stop it at 1.12..it's frightening...the forensic proof is there...senna much as i love him for what he did at lotus putting the car on pole...was mad...which can be a beautiful thing...especially in a racing driver...but he could never lose never admit he was second and that can be lethal..you can see from his face his eyes that he was disturbed but he will always remain one of the fastest drivers who ever lived...

  • Suzuka i think

  • @nachospole1 yeah like prost did the past season...

  • how idiotic from senna!

  • im amazed how many more barriers there are there and how much safety has improved for the track as well as the cars

  • OMG... this is precious film!

  • @tugatomsk you're totally right brundle is a legend.

  • Fabulous, thanks for posting this I remember it well, it was a brilliant season-long battle between the two which Brundle eventually won. They were both fantastic drivers and everyone at the time thought they were both destined for greater things. If Brundle hadn't stayed at Tyrrell so long who knows, like Derek Warwick he never got the breaks in F1 he really deserved.

  • @TheMightyAntar erm.... no Brundle didnt eventually win this battle... check the record books.. I'm pretty sure Senna won the championship and therefore won the battle between the 2

  • You're absolutely right, and I'm getting old! It was a cracking season though and apparantly Senna told Brundle on the final podium he thought Brundle was the best British driver since Jim Clark.

  • wow does my response to you seem harsh... sorry about that.. didnt mean to sound so curt... I blame my work and lack of sleep! My apologies, I always try and be accurate and fair...Brundle never really got the break did he? Unfortunately he lost the drive with Toleman as Senna decided that he didn't want to go to McLaren straight away... would that have made a difference.. we'll never know.

  • @csykes23

your the idiot...... you ass hole!!

  • It's 'you're'. Who is the idiot again?

  • Senna and Brundle visibily look so much faster than the rest.

I bet when that film was taken no one ever knew that this Senna guy would become the most prominent racing driver in history.

  • Amazing upload thank you!

  • Senna could have hurt Brundle on the head. It was so dangerous.

Senna and Schumacher don´t know to loose.

  • Senna goes straight to Martin after the crash, Senna a true hero!

  • @jackobcooper So if i stab you on the shoulder, but then I go straight to help you, i become a hero too?

  • @longde Brundle if two drivers do not give an inch, they both crash, and they both take responsibility. Idiot.

  • @longde say two people have knifes and run into each other, but only one is stabbed, that's more like what teh scenario is here.

  • Historic material thanks

  • i´ll quote James Hunt on Salazar-Piquet Crash:

    "Absolutely Ridiculous"

  • Motorsport equivalent of the Zapruder footage.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Wow! I didn't even realise footage of this accident existed, this is historic!!! Crazy attempt by Ayrton to get past Brundle, least he had the dignity to immediately help Martin from the car.

  • What a mad attempt at overtaking by Senna.

  • That is a piece of motorsport history. God bless Ayrton Senna.

  • Thank you . Sorry I only speak English !!

  • Jóia!! só tinha visto essa por fotos.

    Thank s for posting!!!

    15 anos de saudades.

  • Isso mostra como ele era um piloto agressivo e arrojado. Só aceitava a vitória.

  • What impresses me about Senna is his concern for his fellow racers safety. Like in this video he quickly gets out of the car to see if Brundle is ok and he helps out. Also like that time he stopped on track to help another driver who had badly crashed. Belgium I think it was, anyone know?

  • Belgium 1992: He stopped to help Eric Comas after his heavy crash.

  • Falou tudo, Senna era o cara, tbm não tenho certeza se foi na Bélgica, mas acho que foi, esqueci o nome do piloto agora, mas era um piloto diferenciado, um gênio!!Ayrton Senna do Brasil!!!!

  • Yeah like Japan 1990 when he purposefully crashed into Prost. Showed a real concern for safety that did.

  • A fair judgement over Japan '90 without considering what happend during the previous 12 months is impossible.

  • He's not a gay Michael

  • yeah, you´re right about not being like Michael

...now, for being gay, well, i woulnd´t totally rule out this possiblity...

  • @theiceman099 Senna could help a bit more to driver safety if he had not attempted to kill Brundle on this video, or kill Prost many times by pushing him against the barriers at full speed. A dirty driver that got glorified above comparable (and fair) drivers such as Prost, Piquet and Lauda.

  • @longde Senna dirty vs "fair" Prost? LOL someone needs to do some research before they talk

  • @theiceman099 it's funny though because he also did'nt seem to care about drivers safety at the same time i remember in japan when he took out prost on purpose.

  • @nachospole1 We all know why he did that. Prost used underhanded politics to his favor in 89. In 1990 Senna got pole. Then, mysteriously, pole was moved to the dirty side of the track. On top of that Prost had the FIA president in his back pocket. This is why I don't feel sorry for Prost. Senna finally said enough is enough. He said before the race, he was going for it no matter the consequence. I admire him for fighting against corrupt, fraternizing, politicians.that ruin the sport.

  • @xcruzrr6 his 'quest' against the 'corrupt politicians' included arbitrary law. How can one be admired for such a thing?

  • @TheColinChapman So what you're saying is a person who stands up to corruption is not admirable? What would you rather him do? Race it out and risk Prost doing the exact same thing he did the year before? How admirable would that be? Do you not admire the people who stand out in the cold and rain to protest the corrupt banks that ruined the world? Instead of picket signs, Senna packed the rope and duct tape.

  • @xcruzrr6 I'm saying that a person who stands up to corruption by being illegal himself , is unacceptable. WEhat Prost did to Senna in 89, was deceit, what Senna did to Prost in 90, was deceit. Both is despicable, and one mischief does does not justify the next one. Senna was good enough to beat everyone by fair means, unfortunately he did not have the discipline to do so.

  • @TheColinChapman Ok I get that but, what would you have him do? If you simply go by that logic his DQ in 89 would have been justified but we both know it wasn't. If you get beat up or teased everyday at school and no one cares to do anything about it, are you wrong for punching the kid in the face or coming up with a mom joke? Yea...on paper but, it's a good feeling knowing that kid wont F with you again. Walking the high road could have lost him the title in this case.

  • @xcruzrr6 Comparing Senna to a school kid seems very strange to me. And I think his disqualification @ Suzuka in '89 WAS justified. Not for cutting the chicane (this was the official reason), but for being push-started by the track marshalls. and please don't forget that even a win in Suzuka in '89 wouldn't have won him the title. He would have needed to win in Adelaide, too, but there he crashed into Martin Brundle (again).

  • @theiceman099 Yeah, a real angel. first he runs his opponent over and then he worries about him. Of the dead, speak no evil, but this man was half angel and half devil. He could have saved his care if he hadn't crashed into Brundle. His left front wheel touched Martin's right rear wheel, so it's prettty obvious whose corner this was. As far as I recall, this was one of the last races of the season. Senna was leading by points, with this crash he basically crowned himself. how convenient!

  • @TheColinChapman U mad?

  • @xcruzrr6 no, but what about you? :-))

  • @TheColinChapman nah, just chillin homie. lol

  • Wow, this is rare! Thanks for posting. :D

  • how close did it get to brundles head!!

hmmm- my thoughts that senna was a bit too eager i think

  • This crash is what Martin Brundle always tralked about, thanks for posting it.
