This fish will live.It wasnt hooked deep. I spotted the hook in the mouth.I dont use stainless hooks so the hook will eventualy rust out.I have since changed my line and been more productive. You should change your line every season.
what kind of fishing line you have to use to cach marlin? I cant find it in eny store where i live, can you send me the name of the best fishing line?
fabulous creatures to catch. The most enjoyment I get when catching one or watching someone on my boat catch one is watching them tail dance and seeing them glide thru about 2 ft. of water when they land.oh, and LOL to the 10th marlin on the same spool of line!! As far as I am concerned that spool has done it's job! I would much rather have them tail dance in my vision and get close to the boat and be able to observe their beauty and loose them then to not catch them at all! Great video.
'Just to let you all know....that was about the 10th Marlin that i caught on the same spool of line....the line should have beeen replaced way before that encounter. That fish will live as it was only mouth hooked and i dont use stainless

dude at least go to walmart and buy a 20 dollar line thicker than yours cuz well you look like you dont know and it snapped cuz you where pulling to much and to hard people like you dont deserve a a fishing rod lol
take it easy mate he did well to size up a fish like that and this shit is just for a hobby so wat right have u got, and its easy for u to sit here and critisize y not make ur own movie insteada bagging ppl
Nice fish pitty the line broke, if your drag was set correctly to 1/3rd of the lines rated breaking strain that probley wouldnt have happened, or being too egar and went over the button!
you have got to spread line when reeling in if you don't, line builds up at the same bit on spool then jams if the marlin runs at this point line will snapp

BOMLUIS123 1 year ago
how can you be so sure? the fish could have swallowed the hook.
and yes I fish, it's been long time since the last time I went fishing though, been too busy these years
mourkos 1 year ago
@mourkos if it swallows the hook all you do is cut the line. the hook wiggles its way out naturally or even rusts.
