Colin is such a blessing to our family and such an amazing child!! One whole year!! Wow, it just seems like yesterday ya'll were making the first trip to see him!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
i know what you mean too. i picked up the uke after a really hard change in my life and its really amazing how calming playing those things can be :) best of luck!
That is a darling little boy and your wife is very beautiful. He looks very comfortable in your wife's arms. I have 3 step children and 2 by my 1st wife. All grown up, it happens so fast. Just turn around one day he'll be looking you straight in the eye. ("Turn around and he's a young man going out of the door").
Very nice Alan. I really started watching YouTube when you were posting the snowy Russian videos with your uke. Good luck on the contest and continued blessings to you and your wife.
Oh Al, I can't remember the last time I saw something this touching and beautiful. Obviously, I'm crying, quite a lot, it's just so so beautiful! So much love there. An amazing story too. Merry Christmas and love to you and your beautiful family X
this is really intense alan...thank you for sharing this wonderful story! being adopted myself, i have a very special place in my heart for people like you and your wife. colin has a great life ahead of him with parents like you two! <3
Damn, I'm such a softie, I got all teary eyed here when Colin fell asleep - lovely little boy. Bet he and Svante could be good friends. Thanks for sharing Alan.
Absolutely stunning! I have the same sapronino from MGM. I hold it to my nephew's level when we mind him and he strums it while I make the chord shapes. He's started singing along too! He wasn't a great fan of me before the uke playing. Now "Barry" is his favourite word! He steals my ukes.
Anyway, enough of my crap. This is a touching story and I think you definitely deserve to win this contest. Good luck!
Alan, I'm almost crying over here. Thanks for restoring me with your story. Your son is beautiful! Congratulations and adulations from me and everybody who gets to watch your vids.
they say children are our future, glad to see the future will be ukin, adorable family. My daughters the same way some days ive gotta play for hours so she'll be calm. so from one parent to another and one uker to another. Great Job man. and happy holidays
