from your experience, what is the best way to suede your dolls? I mean, do you use actual suede? What about wiring them?

Oh my word the 2nd doll is HUGE 0.0! Is she 80cm?! Cause I had my sights on a 80cm doll....and she will look more like my child and everything when I get her since I am barely 5'2. How insane and thank you for everything~! :DDD

@KagomesSelf haha! I'm 5'2" too and I was thinking the same thing.

She is 80cm. There are Lusion dolls like these, but there are also Mecha Angels by SOOM (their female MAs are 79cm and they are an "adult mold"). Lusion dolls cost a ton, but MA don't cost quite as much, but they only sell their MAs for five days every month (which is a pain).

Either way, both are so beautiful!

i think they (at the factory) should make sure that the doll at least holds a pose properly, if it means sueding it themselves. Especially with the amount you pay for the dolls. You have some gorgeous dolls there

@miacatchan I don't think Nobility makes eyes, you'll have to look into eye companies, some glass and urethane eye companies might be able to help you :)

wiring with aluminum or copper (rubber coated) wire would solve the posing problem. you may have to fold it in half then put it in ( IE twice as much wire)

I'd love to hear an update on your Dahlia. They really fascinated me when I saw her for the first time. Do you plan on blushing her body at all? Just curious since I loved the way Dollmore did their dolls on the site.

Do they just do faces then as well though? I know Minimee does, but I've seen faces that looked realistic and nice and faces that look kinda...not my thing. I'm talking ones created around human references too. Anyway, thank you for the vid!

Yup, they can do just heads too, there are a few examples on their web page of just heads they've done ^^ There are pros and cons to ordering from DIM vs Nobility, DIM is quick, Nobility is a bit more expensive, DIM SDs have large heads, Nobility can do whatever size you need, etc.

I've never had a custom head made, but I know it's popular nowadays! ^^
