Unlike some of the other "flying cars" out there, this one actually looks somewhat practical. I am a bit worried with the stability caused by the short/thin wings and the drag produced by the ducted fan intake though.

Flying low over the open ocean poses some safety issues and more so near Maui.

In 1953 I was on a long range low altitude mission to drop a SHAPE ( a dummy MK-7 Atomic bomb). My target was in the channel off the coast of Oahu near Kaneohe MCAS. I was normally at 50' but I was getting so sleepy that I dropped to about 10-15' hoping the sensation of speed would wake me up. A mating whale jumped out in front of me. If I had hit it no one know that my dissapearance was due to a midair with a whale.
