@TinkerLunaBelle As long as you use the proper paint, it should be fine. But to keep from premature fading, wash the shirt inside out in cold water. :)
@TinkerLunaBelle You can use acrylic if you use it lightly. It typically dries harder, so it's best to use a fabric paint like tulip soft. Good thing is, you can always get a few bottles of the white fabric and mix in different acrylics (which gives you SO many more color options). :)
I've seen people on tumblr saying they got these shirts from you in the mail. How did they contact you and does that mean you make them and sell to others? How much would it be? I'm really interested!
@MsMeme2014 I have some up for sale in my shop, but they're premade so the sizes can't be adjusted. I try to take on custom requests when I can - just send an email to fandom.finery(at)gmail(dot)com
@TheMoonsCurse Thank you! I have the original stencil I used on my tumblr page: court4short.tumblr.com :) Just check out the info page on the left-hand side and the link is towards the bottom!
hey! is it possible if you could send me via email the two sheets you had in the beginning? I don't know if I can find the exact font, have the correct size, or find pavarotti :)
@henanimejade Hi! I have the stencil posted publicly on my tumblr, here: court4short.tumblr.com Just look in the information portion on the left-hand side. :D
@horsegerbil Between stenciling, ironing and painting they can take up to an hour. But I love working on them so much that the time just flies. :) I love seeing the guys wear them too!! Thank you!
I'm gonna look for some things you used for that shirt, because I don't know where can I buy them in my city... But thanks for the tutorial, seriously, you're totally awesome!
What font did you use for the words? And where did you find the bird image? :)

OMG , the shirt loooks so adorable . ilikegleetoo;) what kind of paint did you use , and is that regular white paper ?
Jelyzza0248 3 months ago
@Jelyzza0248 You can use a soft fabric paint (tulip is common) and it's actually freezer paper. :)

I'm still slightly confused on how to make this ourselves because the stencil on tumblr is really small. Am I just crazy?
stepponme123456789 8 months ago
Did you print the stencil onto the freezer paper? And where can you get freezer paper? ^_^

Wow, I always wondered how you make them. They just look so good. : )
Thank you so much for the tutorial!!
Do you send the sheets? Because I saw another version on the internet, but this is just so much better. Pavarotti has much more details.
