But it seems that the new wave of movies these days have found this mantra to shock audiences and so their storylines are invariably centered around exploitations, just for the sake of exploitation. The so called 'intellectual' youth have come to think that anything beyond normal, or beyond what's socially acceptable is... 'art'. And anything that's in black and white of course :P

If a film deals with social issues/ taboos, it shouldn't be like a lecture. The film still needs to be well made with a good story.The social issues should come out naturally instead of in dialogues... The reason such films don't become successful is because people in India prefer mindless entertainment with stars and glamor... Appreciation of true cinema and art is lacking.Even films with a certain amount of depth and meaning can be entertaining but it depends on the person
