Ok. Having attended hundreds of open mics, these commercials are horribly offensive. I mean, just being a human being, these commercials are horribly offensive. But open mic crowds do not sit quietly and desperately pay attention to boring comics and laugh at every quip and non-joke. Open mics are miserable places, poorly lit, usually in bars where half the crowd isn't paying attention, and the comics are a lot more angsty and shame filled than her.

For all of those complaining about how she's a "terrible comedian," remember that this is an ACTRESS who is ACTING out the words that she's being given to speak. And the words she was given to speak are pretty terrible. Not her fault.

An Australian Tampon Company asked a bunch of female comedians to do an ad like this, but I was so angered by how much this commercial stereotypes female comics, that I sent them an ad which would do us proud.
