i did 33 dips but before that i was doing some pull ups..does pull ups affect my triceps ,shoulder and chest strenght?Because i don`t feed that it tires my arms...
@BoneBeast this is much alike Plyometrics bro, it develops muscular endurance and explosiveness more than strength alone. Power = Force X Distance / Time. So its great to do Plyometrics to improve timing. Force is from strength/weight training
47 dips are great, but you shouldn't go down so fast or so low! You stand a greater chance of injuring yourself by ripping your deltoids or pectorals doing that. Control is the key! I know that for martial arts you want quick-twitch muscles, but you can achieve that in a less risky & more productive way: lower yourself in a controlled manner until arms are level, then explode up & off of the bars (get airborne), & then catch yourself with slightly bent arms (not locked) for one rep. Try it!
@crazu00 I stretch out my deltods and all part of my body, therefore I manage to avoid from injuring my deltoids when doing dips like that. In the beginning, take your time and get the correct form then increase your speed eventually when you get use to the explosive movement.
I hope you don't workout like this, or you might do some damage to your arms. If it's just a show of strength, then props man, you're fucking strong as hell.
good job! but for dips, youre going way too low. not saying you dont gain extra strength, but its not necessary. plus it makes you make that skeeting motion with your body at the end when you tired out
Yes, you will feel quite rewarding after each workout. You feel there is life in you and full of energy. The only hard part is to start a workout...in the beginning you most of us feel lazy but once we get the momentum going...trust me you want to workout more and more...
@phanca99 i wish so much i had a good shape on my body.. there is no sign of muscle.. i get tired immediately.. im tall and skinny.. i suck at all sports.. only thing i want is to look good ..i want to have energy.. i wanna feel like the duracell ad bunny! for a higher self confidence ... would you say anything to a loser like me? :( any kind of advice or.. whatever?
@kaiserdragon33 hey I am thinking that your biggest problem is YOU. How could you call yourself a "loser". For a start you need to cut that out. Before getting into any kind of training you need to get your mental state right. You can't just "get" self esteem. Forget about how you do at sports and all that stuff. Just focus on doing what you enjoy and don't analyse whether you are good or not. Maybe you get tired because you are unmotivated owing to low esteem. Start simple and small steps. Win.
@kaiserdragon33 what i do is go out for a cycle at least 4 times a week for 3-5 hours a day and swim and all that stuff but whatever your sport keep trying force yourself to finish.
@phanca99 yeah i feel exactly the same , i started doing alot of pull ups and dips in the stadium near me , and every time i start i feel like being lazy as fuck but then 10 pullups for the warm up and at the end i finish my workout after doing nearly or over 150 pull ups , after that i feel tired and energetic , but you get more confidence and you feel more calm its like mental rest
@phanca99 - True, but most people WILL get injured if they try doing that kind of hard work often without proper prehab or joint work. Great work, though!
@luckyduckfuck - I'm sorry, are you asking me a question? Yes, you should do joint preparation before doing this stuff unless you specifically train to not have to.
You know if a neighbor had videoed you from one of those windows you know how it wud have turned out - you were riding something big - maybe oprah winfrey lol
This is good but i don't advise you do this for training, i know you like Bruce Lee, and this would definitely not build explosive power, try doing clap dips or something, good job.

kaiserdragon33 11 months ago
@kaiserdragon33 wow man that's pretty depressing. here's some advice, in three easy steps.
1) get some self esteem (this is key)
2) go to the gym a minimum of 3 times a week, every week. (look into a program like Starting Strength, google it)
3) do that for a year and I guarantee you you'll be strong and feel fantastic.
all it takes is discipline. consistency is key
