Even 500 million is still HUGELY impossible: Thriller sold 60 million (per shipment of around 60-70M copies & INCLUDING post-death DLs), while Bad sold about half (30-35M), & the rest DRASTICALLY below them..

It's a freaking Golden Globe, the most worthless "award" anyone can win. Didn't Pia Zadora win one for best new actress? The foreign press corp that comprises the voters are notorious for nepotism, cronyism, corruption, etc. Was the song any good? No. But none of them were anything special. And it's still just a Golden Globe.
