I cried on the day of the verdict. As soon as MJ exited the vehicle, I saw his Mom behind him (she was there EVERYDAY w/ his father) and I thought "Damn, what they put this poor woman through---those DEVILS". When MJ was acquited of all counts my Mom called me and was crying and praising god. I sent Mesereau's office a thank you card with my brothers and I (all African-American) and why I identified so much w/ MJ's journey, since I was young. I wish Mesereau was w/ Mike in 1993.

I don't know ifI am the only one, BUT every time I see Tom Mesereau I think of Atticus Finch. A man who put his reputation on the line to protect another mans reputation. What a great man! Not only in his work with Michael but his pro bono work in alabama aswell. It's all wonderful. I so love the fact that to this day, even with Michael gone Tom will defend him. & Tom even left his church to go to a new one because of their opinion on MJ. That is a true friend. God Bless Tom Mesereau.

What a wonderful, compassionate, humble and caring Man, Mr. Mesereau is. He knew instinctively that Michael was innocent and that the charges were trumped up by a bent and bigotted D. A. with a personal vendetta against Michael. God Bless him.

@johanna006 I think Barbara Walters knew who she was dealing with. She would have LOVED to perpetuate the slanderous claims against Michael but I think she knew she would never get away with it with Tom Mesereau. Never. There are no holes in this man to shoot through.
